Amazon Brand - Solimo Vitamin B12 3000 mcg, 100 Gummies (2 Gummies per Serving) & Vitamin D3 2000 IU, 160 Gummies (2 Gummies per Serving)

Good value vitamins with sort of gumdrop texture

With Subscribe and Save, these Amazon Solimo gummy vitamins were half the price of my usual (Olly) Vitamin D gummies, so I thought I'd give them a try. These vitamins come in two styles (150 count of 1000IU and 160 count of 2000IU). I purchased the 2000IU. Serving size for the 2000IU is 2 gummies, so they are good for 80 days (over 2 and a half months), whereas the serving size for the Olly gummy I had been using is 1 gummy and 100 to a package. Even though there are less in a package for Solimo than the Olly brand, these are definitely a better price per serving. I've included a picture of both the single Olly gummy on the left and Amazon Solimo serving size on the right. Although this is listed as vegetarian, the Vitamin D (D3) does come from Cholecalciferol which is from irradiated lanolin (extracted from Sheeps wool). There are two types of Vitamin D (D3 and D2). The D2 is from fungi or yeast but the D3 is said to more closely mimic the Vitamin D your body makes naturally from sunlight. Whereas Olly D3 gummies are thickened by pork gelatin, the thickening agent for this brand is pectin (from fruit). This is why I think they are billed as vegan gummies. I don't get enough natural vitamin D and do feel better after taking them (my vitamin D levels have increased after taking a supplement). As far as being healthy, well they do have a lot of sugar in them. (If helps you to want to take the vitamins because of the candy-like form, it's ok in my book.) As far as the flavor and texture of these go: they are easy to chew. To me they seem to be the consistency of gumdrops minus the sugar on top. (Kind of pillowy chew into them, not gummy /chewy like other gummy vitamins I've had). It's different but not a turn off. I prefer the flavor of other vitamins to these (the Olly flavor is really good), but these are not gross; they are sweet and just an ok flavor to them. If they were not significantly cheaper, I probably would stick with the other brand. I do like the fact that these aren't made of pork gelatin. That kind of grosses me out thinking about it. All in all, I will continue to take these

Yummy Gummy :)

I always wanted to taste vitamin gummies. This is the only one which I found was vegetarian :).Thank you Amazon! It tastes great. I have kept it in front of my desk so that I can take it everyday. Now I don't forget to take my Vitamin D which I am supposed to take and it tastes great. It is not too mushy. Tastes like a candy!!! Update: Just thought I would add a note that after taking this for a few months now my vitamin d3 level has climbed up to normal level :) :) I am extremely excited as I always had below normal level

Tasty, gelatin free and GREAT price.

These gummies are actually really good. Not rubbery or artificial tasting. It has some fairly clean ingredients and most importantly it is gelatin free. Also the quantity is great for the $6 price. They should last about 80 days if you take 2 a day. Each gummy is 1000u NOT 2000u. So when you take 2 gummies a day you reach the 2000u threshold. Only thing is that they can make you constipated after taking it for a while

I have been taking different Vitamin D from tablets, capsules and gummies but the Amazon Brand Solimo delivers better Vitamin D into my body. It's proven through blood work as I am being monitored for cells repair due to cancer. Recent blood work showed higher Vitamin D in my blood stream. My Oncologist said to continue taking the brand of Vitamin D that I am currently taking. Awesome formulation for this product. Thank you Amazon! Great job

Lab tests confirm these work!

I used to have super low vitamin D levels and my doctor was nagging me to take a supplement. I'm kind of hit or miss on whether I remember to take these but my levels are well into the normal range now even though I only remember to take them 3-4 times a week. They're vegetarian and taste like candy, what more could you want in a gummy? Also these are very reasonably priced. I will continue buying them as long as that doesn't change

Miracle

Hubs and I have been taking these supplements and the change in behavior is astounding. I'm (female) and definitely more energetic and in a better mood. My husband's change is drastic (in the best way possible). He used to be moody, have a terrible sleep schedule, and was extremely unhappy. Now he's sleeping better, has a more positive mindset, and is overall a much better person to himself and to others

These are my favorite (I've tried at least half a dozen brands of vitamin D gummies) for flavor and value. Unfortunately they're currently only available on Amazon Fresh? So, I had to switch brands, and that is not available for where I live. But, if they ever switch back and deliver anywhere? I would go back to this brand no hesitation. I'd even give whatever I had left of my alternate brand to my husband, because I like this better and he doesn't know the difference. Vendor delivered in a timely fashion and in good condition

They dont taste bad at all

They are good gummies. On the other hand, they do not mix well with my morning coffee. So while i do like these and i definitely recommend, im best at morning pill routine, and these just didnt work for me. *update* 10/2022- for reasons beyond my control, i had to go to a night time pill routine. (Bummer) but it is what it is. Now that I take them at night im definitely not mixing them with coffee. So, i thought i should raise the level of stars since really it was a personal reason, not a fault with product itself. One thing that made me give it less than 5 stars...ive HEARD, dont know if its true, that if you take gummies for your vitamin it may not be evenly distributed in the gummys. I mean seems to me that this could happen in pill form or gummy form. So bottom line, i dont like to have to swallow pills, id rather eat a gummy, personally

Perfectly fine but our kids like the Vitafusion brand better

Our kids really like the Vitafusion brand D3 gummies. These were slightly cheaper, though, so I figured I'd give 'em a shot when our last bottle of Vitafusion ran out. Both these and the Vitafusion ones we buy are 1,000IU per gummy (yes, they're advertised as 2,000IU, but the serving size is 2 gummies, so it's just 1,000IU per gummy). These are 160/bottle; Vitafusion is 150/bottle. The cost difference as of this writing is pennies (about a half penny per gummy). They're definitely different. These have more of a gumdrop texture and taste more like plain sugar, while the Vitafusion have a texture and fruity flavor more like Welch's fruit snacks. I think they both taste pretty good, but the kids strongly prefer the Vitafusion ones, so I'll be keeping the Vitafusion on my Subscribe and Save list and not these

Not bad not great

The taste isn't the best it's not horrible but it also takes 4 to 6 to be able to get the dosage that you should probably have so the fact that it's super cheap versus other brands that have higher dosage. I don't think you get the proper price versus the potency
