Decent Vitamin C but DECEPTIVE Marketing!

This is decent Vitamin C but doesn't have rosehips and is marketed as being made in a "Made in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) facility in the USA" but on the line above it says "Product of China; blended and packaged in USA". Big difference and a total lie!! It cannot be made it both places and China doesn't use GMP practices. Then you read the disclaimers that basically says nothing on the bottle has to be true. This is very disappointing for another Amazon product. This was a great price but I have no idea what I am really putting in my body. I am throwing these away because of this legal disclaimer. "Legal Disclaimer Actual product packaging and materials may contain more and different information than what is shown on our website. We recommend that you do not rely solely on the information presented and that you always read labels, warnings, and directions before using or consuming a product." What the heck is that because to me that's just saying that there is no quality control and anything can be in there. Amazon is getting downright dangerous and that bothers me because I used to believe in their brand. As far as I can tell there is nothing wrong with the bottle I have but I don't play Russian roulette with my health!

Vitamin C Without Rose Hips! Ingredient Transparency A Plus, Easy To Swallow

These are as fine as any Vitamin C I've tried. The 300 caplet bottle will last me most of a year. Important for me is the absence of rose hips and having the ingredients available to see before I buy. I can say I'm very pleased with Amazon Elements Vitamin C. These are not the first Amazon Elements supplements I've tried. I was very pleased with Amazon Elements Tumeric Complex and that helped me decide to give these a try. I'm glad I did. The caplets are pretty much the same size and shape as any other 1000mg vitamin C I've tried before. They are easy to swallow and are physically just fine for me. I like the large bottle of 300 so I don't have to buy more frequently. In my use over decades the combination of vitamin C and fish oil seems to help my joints. I notice when I stop taking both my joints start aching noticeably. I get reminded of this if I take a trip and forget to bring them along... Do Amazon Elements work better than other's I've used? I can only say they work as well and the packaging is convenient. About rose hips - I have noticed that taking vitamin C buffered with rose hips gives me a sensitive stomach. Even stomach cramps. Lots of vitamin C products contain rose hips, but this does not. Yeah! I'm very pleased with this 300 bottle of 1000mg Amazon Elements Vitamin C. I'm giving it 5 stars for giving me just what I wanted

These do not contain gluten

Wow, I didn't realize how many are in this bottle until I saw it. There really is six months worth of caplets here (if you take one a day). And only one per day is needed...the 1,000mg provides 1,667% Daily Value. Fortunately, Vitamin C is excreted by the kidneys so any extra that's in your body is just eliminated. You will find that the caplets are a little on the bigger side, but they have a vegetable coating so I've found they don't get stuck in my throat when I swallow them. It is also wise to take them with food though, as the ascorbic acid may cause burning in your stomach. There is one review saying that these are not gluten free. I understand the concern, because so many people now are allegeric or sensitive to them. I researched it, and all of the ingredients in question (the fillers that make up the bulk of the caplets...everything except the ascorbic acid) MAY START OUT as a corn or wheat product, but the compounds that are extracted no longer contain gluten. I have that same concern and have been taking them for a few months now, without any adverse affects. These are definitely a great value (the best I've seen on Amazon), especially if you use the Subscribe and Save. I'll certainly purchase these again when I'm running low. The last thing I'd like to say about these is how I've felt since taking them. There was once when I felt a cold and a sore throat coming on. In combination with a zinc supplement it never progressed to the full blown stage. Actually, I've been taking both for several years now and haven't caught a cold or the flu (I also take precautions while I'm in public (I wash my hands or use hand sanitizer after coming out of a store, other public space or a restroom

My skin loves this Vitamin C

I've been looking for some good vitamins to take. As a skincare junkie, I know vitamin C is one of the most important vitamins for your skin, as it boosts collagen production which helps to lessen the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. After a week of daily ingesting, my skin is GLOWING. My skin looks plump and the fine lines under my eyes are basically gone. I have a bit of pigmentation from old acne scars and they have already started to lessen. I'm excited to see more results after using Vitamin C for a month or so! Only con is that this pill is massive. I have no pics (sorry) but it's about 4/5th the diameter length of a quarter

Better than Solimo, anyway

Just started taking mega-doses as a test to see if I felt or noticed a difference. These were very good for about a month, then I went and bought the cheaper Solimo and have not felt the same, so I will go back to these and continue to test crazy old Linus Pauling's theories for myself..

Helps with depression!

I took these and started to feel a little better (combined with my depression and anxiety meds). Then I ran out and started to feel worn down again. I am so happy to have bought them again. Vitamin C really does improve depression symptoms (combined with other things)

Big bottle, Great price, Great product!

I love these! They seem to work like other brands I've taken, but these are vegan, with no artificial colors/flavors, no chemicals and gluten free. It is hard to find Vitamin C (in the 1,000 mg dose per pill) with all the qualities listed above, and in a large container that if taken as described, will last you almost a year! The vitamins might seem big in size when you first see them, but they are really not any bigger than other brands out there, at least ones that I have tried in the past. Would recommend

Immunity Boost

I give me and my husband two of these each day to boost our immunity because I work on the front lines and take care of covid patients. It must have helped because we just cleared our 2 month outbreak and I didn't catch it. Wear your masks, wash your hands and be safe out there people. ðŸ¤

OCD benifits

Based on the experience on my Amazon elements mouse pad, this is not a suprise of 'elements' quality. I'm good as long as it's Vitamin C, just post this for fun. If you have OCD, try this

Great Product

I switched from an expensive name brand to the Amazon brand. Ill be honest, I switched simply because of the price. Its a vitamin, and its doing the same thing as the expensive brand. I can feel no difference in my immune system and they are doing the same thing. Along with the two other daily vitamins we take on a daily basis, it is supporting our health in a positive manner. Again, other than price, milligrams, and amount of pills you get there is no difference in the ingredients. It didn't make sense for me to spend the extra $10 for the same thing. However, since it is your health I wouldn't recommend buying the cheapest of the cheap poorly made bad brand vitamins. At least stick with companies that have some integrity and ethics. I would highly recommend the Amazon brand for vitamins, and this product for a daily immune booster. Thank you, Joseph
