BlenderBottle Classic V2 Shaker Bottle Perfect for Protein Shakes and Pre Workout

I drink Huel for breakfast before work, every morning. It's great at what it does. But the Huel-branded shaker you get with your first order, not my favorite. It's nice, and works well enough but I have trouble with the stuff clumping up regularly. It's also so wide it doesn't fit in my car's drink-holders! Those problems, and more, solved by this affordable, yet soooo effective shaker bottle. First, I should mention that while I cancelled my order from Amazon for this product, it's only because I happened upon one at my local Wal-Mart by accident that very morning. Figured what the heck, same price but I get it immediately. I will be buying more of these shortly and I plan to go straight from Amazon (free shipping rules and I'm not actually -that- local to Wal-Mart.) I was immediately happy with this thing. Typically, so much of our lives is spent overlooking the simple things, like shaker bottles. You think it works till it doesn't, or in my case, something just works better. I find this bottle requires less shaking overall. This may not mean much to most, but I like knowing I can have a perfectly blended shake in less than 2 minutes total. The included blender ball is a game changer. Such a simple concept, yet works splendid. No more clumps in the shake. The included handle makes it easy to clip onto a bag or carry, and is separate from the cap so you don't have to worry about it yanking open at any time. It's virtually leak-proof as I've not been able to get it to leak even under extreme circumstances. An underrated feature is the design. I love that the branding is quiet, which I could not say for the Huel shaker. I absolutely do not mind marketing Huel as I've used it now for nearly two years and find it to be an exceptional meal-replacement that tastes great. But it gets old having people ask me -every time- what Huel is. I can avoid repeating the same answer 6x a day now. Finally, this thing just cleans up sooo easily. Not that the Huel shaker was difficult to clean, but this one is just so simple. Everything slides right off and nothing gets caught against hard edges. The lid and ball clean up equally as well, with no problems getting around the mouth and cap. If I had one gripe, it's that on the darker bottle you cannot see the measurements clearly. This doesn't bother me personally, as I don't really measure the liquid I mix (usually coffee) but I can see how others may be put off by it. I would recommend a subtle line at each 100ml mark in a contrasting color. Honestly this really is just a nitpick. I will be recommending this to everyone that inquires, for sure. It's the little things like this that improve our lives in subtle ways and we're all better for it

I use a shaker bottle nearly every day and BlenderBottle shakers are among the best I have tried. The spiral metal whisk-y ball does a great job of mixing up your drink, the bottle feels solid and secure when shaking, it is comfortable to hold and the spout is a good size for drinking out of. Overall this is a pretty good shaker with only a couple minor issues. Pros: * Good size - not too big, not too small. There is nothing worse than a shaker that is way too big, leaving too much empty space. Similarly, bottles that are too small don't feel safe or secure when shaking. The BlenderBottle hits that magic Goldilocks zone of bottle size. (At least for my use.) * Leak-free lid. Both the lid and the spout cover provide good, safe seals. I don't have to worry about my drink flying out as I am shaking the bottle. The spout clicks into place securely and isn't loose like some other brands. The leak-free seals are very important to me - more than once I have had to clean up sprays of drink when the seals on other bottles were too weak. * Solid, sturdy construction. The plastic is nice and thick and provides a good sense of quality. These bottles are built to last. * Rounded base. The V2 bottles have a rounded base inside. This means your powders won't get stuck in the corners because there are no corners. Couple with the shaker ball, this means more of your powder gets mixed in. * Drain hole in the base exterior. With the rounded bottom, the outside of the bottle has an extra extrusion so you can sit the bottle on your bench without tipping over. This extrusion has a drain hole so after washing you don't end up with a pool of water in the base. This is a great feature IMHO. Cons: * The drain hole in the space could use a few friends. If you sit the bottle at an angle, (for example, when loading the dishwasher) the drain hole isn't as effective unless it is at the lowest point. Adding a few more drain holes would make the drainage more successful in these situations. * The spout seal doesn't click in with quite the same, confidence-inspiring "CLICK!" of the V1 bottle. It still makes a great seal, but the "CLICK!" of the V1 seems to inspire more confidence. * The measurements on the side of the bottle are not as effective for me. I typically mix up 8oz drinks. The scale on the side of the bottle jumps from 6oz to 10oz, meaning I have to eyeball where 8oz should be. The V1 bottle has 2oz increments, but the V2 has 4oz increments. Also, the V1 bottles have lines marked every 2oz which helps get your levels right, but the V2 just has numbers with no marked lines, so even when measuring 10oz you have to guess where the line should be. I am not sure why they would have done this because it makes the measurements more difficult than they need to be. The only significant drawback is the lack of useful measurement indicators. Apart from that this is a nearly perfect shaker bottle. Easily streets ahead of any of the other bottles I have tried over the years. I already have two and am thinking of buying a couple more because I use these two so often. You won't be disappointed buying one of these

I've been eating super healthy for the past 2 years but THIS year decided to really buckle down, lose weight, gain muscle, get energy, feel good, be happy. I'm doing a lot of clean eating, cardio, strength training and rucking. I love protein shakes because they are a nice way to get in some protein, taste good and are EASY to make. My problem is is that I wake up super early and my blender, albeit awesome, is LOUD AS HECK. Instead of waking the dead, I decided to get a shaker cup. 1- Size: This might be too small for some people. Originally I was doing 2 cups of almond milk, spinach, carrots, raspberries, orgain, MCT oil, matcha and chlorophyll. While super duper healthy, I wanted to stop drinking my calories and do one cup of almond milk. I cut everything and ended up with chlorophyll, orgain and ONE cup of almond milk. That makes this size of a shaker perfect for me. Even if I decided to do 2cups of milk, this would still be a good size. 2- PRICE: To be 100% transparent, there is TWO (maybe more) listings for this specific shaker/brand. I orignally purchased the one that is $1.20 cheaper in a color I didn't really LOVE and just LIKED. I realized about 30 seconds later (I'm working on my ADHD lol) that THIS listing had MORE colors and colors I LOVED, was $1.20 MORE and came with the metal thingy, so I cancelled the other one and got this one. Price is good. $1.20 more for a metal thingy is nice and I love the color I bought. 3- Color: The FIRST one I got was like Teal. Cool. It's blue, I love blue. BUT, I love this blue better baby :o) This is navy blue, true to color, kinda dark, I love it a lot. 4- Leak Proof: I mean I work from home, workout at home, eat at home. I am not a gym rat. Maybe eventually I will venture outwards among the peoples but for now I am in my house. I DON'T know if this is 100% leakproof. Here is what I do know: - The "drink part" has that plastic part that comes down and CLICKS so you can HEAR it locking properly. I use the term "locking" loosely. But it is a nice tight close. I still kept my finger on it because I have trust issues from other cups lol. But, I shook it a lot and it stayed closed. - It's a fatty and a shorty. Fat and short cups = stability. Overall it was under $10, I love the color and size, it can go in the dishwasher (top rack, dude) and it's a thick plastic. Tip: For my new shaker peoples: Don't shake and drink. If you're using protein powder, go do something else for a few minutes. When i use the blender with orgain it has more RPM than my arm so it blends everything PERFECT. I can make it, blend it, drink it. With this shaker I let it sit for 2-5 min and those little pieces should dissolve and make it not so "grainy" for lack of a better term

It shows when a product has had thought put into its design. There are a lot of little things about this bottle that you start to notice: - The wire ball is a great idea and does a fantastic job of mixing. It's light years ahead of putting a spoon in a glass and stirring. - The bottom of the cup is spherical to match the mixing ball so that it doesn't leave any unmixed portion. - The spout hinge closes very tightly to prevent leaks, but there is a large ledge for your thumbs to grasp from underneath to pop it open it easily. - The spout hinge has enough friction to stay open without flapping around, so it doesn't hit you in the cheek when you drink from the spout. - The sides have indents that act as reliefs to add grip so that when you screw down the lid, you have something to hold onto, ensuring that it closes tightly with no leaks. - The edges of the pour spot are nicely rounded off so they feel comfortable on the lips, and the diameter is just right for drinking -- if you want to chug your drink quickly, there's enough room for air to get past to prevent restrictions, but you can also sip comfortably. - The mouth of the bottle with the lid removed is quite wide, and very convenient for dumping drink mix or other ingredients without missing and making a mess. - There's a convenient folding loop for carrying the bottle with one finger if your hands are full. - It's just the right size, not tiny and not gigantic. The only minor annoyance that I experienced was that I tended to get the wire mixing ball stuck on things when setting it out to dry (such as the wire sides of a dish drying rack.) That's easy enough to work around. TLDR: If you are doing any kind of powder drink mix and you don't have one of these, you're missing out

I've made it my personal mission to try as many shaker bottles as possible just as a fun experiment and this is the best one I have tried yet. What sets this one apart from most is that it does not utilize a rubber o-ring. That might sound like a negative but trust when I say I have used close to a dozen different shaker bottles and all the ones with o-rings leak if they aren't screwed on a specific way. This one seems to just create a great seal just from pressure which constant use for the last week has proven reliable. I don't use the shaker ball so can not speak to that. The rubberized hook/handle has a nice feel and is a nice size. I've had others with huge caribener style rings that are handy but often get in the way. the hinge is also very sturdy compared to most shaker bottles. if you're looking for a shaker bottle. I'd recommend this one with full confidence

I bought this primarily for protein shakes like most buyers I would assume. It seals very tightly allowing for vigorous shaking (note: some seniors and those with flexibility/mobility issues or injuries might find popping the cap off a bit of a challenge). The shaker ball does a fine job of blending powders into liquid bases but occasionally small berries and chopped fruit and other ingredients can get stuck in the ball though this is not a serious concern if you chop to size or keep small fruits like strawberries whole and avoid the minor inconvenience. I took one star off for having to wash the container quickly after use to avoid picking up “off” odors. I have had to wash it several times in a row to rid it of strange smells when I've kept it in the fridge overnight or taken a shake on the road where immediate washing isn't possible. Just wash in warm soapy water right away and you'll be good. It is dishwasher safe, top shelf, but I don't like food grade plastics in the dishwasher's heat and chemicals cleaners so I hand wash my shaker. I recommend this product for its value price but remember to clean it fastidiously. ðŸ˜

I ordered another brand of blender bottle originally and was so disappointed that no matter how MUCH I shook and shook it, my protein powder would not blend and I would end up drinking clumps of protein powder. I had a feeling it was the style of the "blender" that was inside, so I decided to order this one. I have NO issues with this whatsoever! It blends extremely well and eliminates nearly all clumps (I get a few small ones here and there) and it takes me 1/3rd of the time to shake it and achieve that smoothness. My other shaker was a workout in itself lol. I have also noticed NO leaks, it's very easy to hold (I have small hands), and this comes in a bunch of colors! The only downside, which isn't really anything to do with the cup, is that it came with a giveaway QR code inside that apparently is already over so I wasn't able to participate in that

So I was attracted to these bottles mainly because they're fairly inexpensive and there's a good mix of vibrant colors to pick from. I picked the green one, as that's my favorite atm and also because I feel green isn't as common a color for water bottles to begin with, and I wanted something that was obviously mine (as my previous shaker bottle was stolen). And so far this shaker has held up well in that regard! I've gotten several compliments on it, as green is eye catching in the sea of boring black/grey/navy shakers! Also the cup itself is good quality too. The ball is just a simple wire one, but it hasn't fallen apart or rusted, which I great. I have had some issues with the drinking hole cover, (I don't use it to drink from, I perfer unscrewing the whole lid on/off instead) sometimes it's too hard for me to snap it on/off when washing it - which is good for people who worry about any leaking issues, I guess. Eventually I'll buy more, as it's sturdy and has lasted me pretty heavy use for the last few months

I love my blender bottle. I never really care if my drinks are cold or warm so that doesn't matter to me but if I need to mix a shake I love my blenderbottles. I love the simplicity of them the easy to use leak proof spout it a nice one. I always bring my blenderbottle to bed with me and my kids love to grab the bottle but since they are little they can't really open it and it's a nice security. Dishwasher safe so it's an easy clean. There's no small pieces that you need a special tool to clean just drop some soap in the cup and get to shaking and it's an easy wash

I bought the blender bottle when it first came our years and years ago. I wasn't a fan. It of course was better than shaking protein powders in a water bottle or stirring with a spoon, but the flat bottom prevented a lot of the powder from blending completely. This V2 blender bottle has a curved bottom which allows the whisk ball to get all the powder that settles to the bottom. No joke I only have to shake for maybe 10-15 seconds to get a perfectly blended shake. It is awesome. The only reason I took a star away is because I really wish that they would find a way to make a glass/stainless steel option. I dislike plastic because eventually it will take on the smell and taste of either the dishwasher pods or protein shake if you don't immediately rinse it out. A small complaint and I feel that this V2 version is definitely worth it
