Omega-3 improves women's hair density
Effect of a nutritional supplement on hair loss in women.
We examined the effects of a 6-month supplementation of omega 3 and 6, along with antioxidants, on women's hair loss. In this randomized study involving 120 healthy participants, improvements in hair density were objectively measured through photographs.
The results showed significant reductions in hair loss, with 89.9% of women reporting decreased loss and improved hair thickness and density. This suggests omega 3 and 6 can be effective allies against hair loss in women, as confirmed by both objective measurements and personal experiences.

Omega 3, which I used in my regimen against hair loss and for growth, has been effective. My hair is long, reaching my waist, but I experienced severe hair loss this winter. After extensive research and consulting my endocrinologist, I adopted a successful routine over three months. Consequently, my hair stopped shedding significantly, and my hairdresser remarked on the improved volume. My regimen included collagen peptides, vitamin C, Omega 3, and various vitamins across meals. By starting this plan, I ensured I had no deficiencies in iron or vitamin D, which is crucial. I have hypothyroidism but do not take hormonal treatments. I hope you find this information useful.
