This product is by far one of the best whey isolate protein powder that I've ever taken. If you're someone who works out regularly, this product is the product for you. It mixes almost instantly without any lumps and powder residue at the bottom of your shaker bottle. I know some of you are afraid of protein powders that don't mix well with certain beverages like milk or juice, but ISO 100 blends in such a way that leaves no clumps in whatever you choose to mix it with. In comparison to ON's Gold Standard Whey, this product mixes way better than ON. As a person who has purchased ON for the past 2 years, I can advocate for that comparison. I've tried many other protein powders in the past, with my most purchased being ON's Gold Standard Whey, that product was my favorite before trying ISO 100 but now I think I will switch my product loyalty to this product, and I think so will you. If you're like me and you go to the gym at least 4 times a week, you might be in need of a product that contains a significant amount of BCAAs that aids recovery and BCAAs fuel your skeletal muscles during training, which can help give you the edge you need to push your limits. The 2.7grams of leucine supports the activation of protein muscle synthesis which is key to muscle growth. You also want a product that is low in calories and one that doesn't bloat you, this product only has 120 calories per serving and it doesn't bloat you at all. You will not be disappointed in this product at all, I've been taking it for a month and I've seen significant growth in my body in just the span of 4 weeks. But of course, the results vary from person to person and not everyone will notice growth in the first 4 weeks. However, you will be surprised at how this product makes your muscles leaner and your strength will improve gradually as well. As for flavors, personally, I've never strayed away from anything chocolatey tasting, but you guys might have different taste preferences. So, if you are planning to purchase this product, I would highly recommend the Gourmet Chocolate flavor as it doesn't taste too generic and it goes down easy. I would rate the Gourmet Chocolate a solid 8/10, you might feel differently about the taste but that's just my opinion. I don't do any other flavors besides chocolate for protein powders. This product surpassed my expectations by a mile, I thought it would be inferior to ON's Gold Standard Whey, but it turned out to be significantly better in my opinion. One of the reviewers here is correct about large producers packaging their whey isolates under a variety of different brand names, but I was only able to find a few hydrolyzed whey proteins offered from all the products currently available online (there are many). I only found a few similar to this one with the distinction of being hydrolyzed which is presumably easier to digest and contains the highest available percentage of protein. A 28 gram serving of this product contains 25 grams of protein or 90% protein by weight. I have been buying whey protein powder for more than 15 years and used all the popular brands. This is simply the best whey I have ever used and tastes different than any others I've known up till now. Zero fat and zero carbs per serving. I no longer use or recommend soy isolates and while I have found some good quality brown rice protein powders the taste is so unpleasant I would stick to whey. Since I was recently new to this whey product, I always start by purchasing vanilla since that's usually the most difficult flavor to do well (in my experience). If I don't like the taste, vanilla is always good to have around for adding to fruit smoothies (a smoothie easily overwhelms any subtleties of an objectionable vanilla whey flavor). If I like the taste of their vanilla I'll serve it solo as well as in smoothies. Once I know I like the vanilla, chocolate is usually next. This vanilla is excellent as far as vanilla goes and I'll be ordering more flavors soon. I use a VitaMix to quickly and easily mix a tasty 12 ounce serving. One trick I can pass along for making a delicious glass is to start with a 16 oz measuring cup. If you have a crushed ice dispenser in your frig door put a few ounces of ice into your measuring cup and fill with water up to the 12 oz mark. Dump the ice and water into your VitaMix and blend at high speed (the idea being to make the water very cold while making any evidence of the ice disappear). With the VitaMix still running at the slowest rpm (stir speed) quickly add one scoop of this protein powder into the freezing cold water and run another 10 to 15 seconds. Pour into a glass and serve while cold. WOW! Is that Good! I don't like running the blender fast with the protein powder already in the water because it makes a foamy drink I don't find enjoyable. Great for diets, snacks throughout the day, for feeding your muscles after weight training. This is a great product. If you are looking for the highest quality whey isolate at the best possible price, this 5lb size is your lowest price best value deal from all comparable labels (at least at the time I'm writing this review). Be sure and shop price because I you can easily pay more than twice the lowest available prices

Dymatize ISO100 is the best mixing, best tasting, best digesting, and overall my favourite protein powder I have ever used. I can drink two whole scoops and even though I am full, it doesn't make me sick. Most of the flavors taste like a desert and it is usually never clumpy. I have been getting it for about 3 years now and have been through dozens of tubs. I will now rate all the flavors: Banana 2/5 - Not great, but not the worst. Tastes *sorta* like that fake candy banana flavor Birthday Cake - 0/5 Tastes like chemicles. nothing like the classic birthday cake flavor or the cereal Chocolate - 2/5 Basic chocolate always sucks. This one is no exception Chocolate Coconut - 0/5 Tastes like a burnt version of the regular chocolate which is especially upsetting when you are expecting an almond joy flavor Chocolate Peanut Butter - 5/5 An incredaible combination and tastes like a dream come true Cinnamon Bun - 5/5 easily my favorite flavor, but they should have named it Horchata, because that is what it tastes more like. Cocoa Pebbles - 3/5 Not a bad chocolate, but it's not quite up to the actual cereal milk flavor they are going for Cookies and Cream - 2/5 I don't think C&C has ever been good though Fruity Pebbles - 4/5 Tastes just like the cereal milk! Overall, I'd say this is one of the best protein powders I've used. It has definitely helped me gain muscle while losing a bit of fat on the way. I've had 5 flavors so far: birthday cake, cinnamon bun, gourmet chocolate, choco peanut butter cup, and strawberry. All flavors have varying quality. I'll break it down below! - Birthday cake was way too sweet but it was pretty tasty. Mixed well and can't go wrong with it. - Cinnamon Bun mixed well too and tasted like milk mixed with cinnamon toast crunch seasoning. The flavor was a bit overpowering and not to my liking but it was not that bad. - Gourmet chocolate was the most neutral of them all. The taste was probably its biggest advantage as it is usually hard to go wrong with chocolate. Mixes well! - Choco peanut butter cup tasted more like straight peanut butter. At first I disliked it but after a few days it grew on me and I did not mind the flavor. Mixes well but I did find some weird residue in it.. also some days my chest would feel weird when drinking it. I would not say to steer away from this flavor since it was probably just an unlucky batch. Mixes well! - Strawberry is my most recent purchase. It was the cheapest of them all for the 5lb tub ($51 vs the usual $66). I read reviews of the strawberry not mixing well and having a weird taste. I can agree to the mixing aspect of the negative reviews as it does not break down well at all. I did find today after my workout that if you mix it and then add it to the fridge for a bit, and mix it later again it broke down evenly. I mixed/placed my shake in the fridge in between my main workout/ab workout and it worked wonders. The taste is actually my favorite. The after taste isn't pleasant but you get used to it! After my current tub runs out, I will not be using Dynamatize anymore due to other protein brands having similar quality and better competitive pricing. Dynamatize was my most used protein powder but I realized I go through a 5lb tub monthly which eventually had me seek out a new powder. I highly recommend Dynamatize though! It's helped me gain a lot of muscle which I find difficult due to my genetics/body structure. I should also mention that when I was deployed in the middle east, Dynamatize was hugely popular, often flying off the shelves the day it arrives at my base. Judging by that, it must be worth using

I've purchased two of the 5lb buckets and I can say without a doubt, it's an exceptional protein powder. The first flavor I purchased was fudge brownie; I was extremely delighted with the flavor, and it managed to meet all my expectations including the ingredients I would want in a protein powder. The fudge brownie flavor was very palatable while mixing well with milk, water, and/or shakes. Unfortunately, the second flavor, cinnamon bun, I purchased was not so scrumptious. I have not tried any other flavors other than fudge brownie or the cinnamon bun so take my opinion with a grain of salt. To my disappointment the cinnamon bun flavor does not deliver as the fudge brownie did. Although it still mixed very well with any fluid and has a lot of great ingredients that I look for in my protein powders, the flavor was simply off-putting and lackluster. It's the type of flavor that I often tend to try and avoid when choosing which powder to buy, but I was feeling so very optimistic after the impression the fudge brownie had left on me I dubiously decided that I would take a leap of faith and try the forbidden cinnamon bun flavor. With high hopes and broken dreams I was yanked to the reality where my apprehensions came to fruition. Overall, the cinnamon bun flavor is tolerable AT BEST, and I genuinely mean, At Best. In conclusion, fudge brownie was a flavor I felt safe with, like a toasty bed on a frigid winter night. Whereas the cinnamon bun was a calculated risk. I knew the pay-off could have been legendary, but I was also aware of the looming price I may have to pay. You may ask, "Why didn't you get a smaller size if it was a flavor you weren't sure of?". To that, I must reiterate a distinguished saying from father gains himself; "Just like in bodybuilding, failure is also a necessary experience for growth in our own lives, for if we're never tested to our limits, how will we know how strong we really are? How will we ever grow?" (â€" Arnold Schwarzenegger). I can say with a pump in my veins and a sight on my gains, I have grown from this failure. This protein powder not only changed my physical gains, but it has also changed my mental gains. I will take what I gained from this experience and keep it with me for the rest of my life. I can only hope you learn from my mistakes, and choose your flavor wisely. For in this scenario, there are right answers and there are wrong answers. No one lifters answers may be the same, so you must find it within yourself to ask with great caution "Am I sure and am I ready to commit to this flavor of protein powder until the bottom of the bucket?" Before I got this, I'd been using a cheap-o product from Sam's Club that cost me around $45 for 5 lbs, and honestly I absolutely dreaded drinking it. I would mix it with water and choke it down as fast as I could to avoid tasting the sub-par flavor and feeling the undissolved lumps of powder slither down my throat as much as possible. Feeling a need for something better, I did some research and this stuff (the Dymatize powder) was recommended by a couple of websites for their high-quality flavors, and I decided that buying something that I actually enjoyed drinking would be worth the extra twenty bucks, so I gave it a shot...and...I will never go back. I got the fudge brownie flavor, and I almost immediately knew it would be better just from the simple fact that it actually completely dissolved in the water. I was quite happy to see that there weren't a bunch of globs of undissolved goo floating around in it after a modest amount of shaking, and it is very smooth to drink - maybe just the barest hint of grittiness but that could be the fact that I didn't shake it enough. The real star of the show, however, is the flavor. Unlike the other stuff I was using, this powder tastes absolutely delicious. In my opinion, both flavor and texture-wise the fudge brownie tastes EXACTLY like drinking powdered cocoa, and it's excellent. I now look forward to my protein shake. Rather than just choking down the entire thing as fast as possible to avoid the taste and texture, I savor each sip, and I'm even a little sad when it's gone. I am very impressed and very happy I spent the extra cash to get such a high-quality product. Oh, and upon receipt (since it came up so often in other reviews), I insured the container was sealed (it was), the container was full (it was), I looked for signs of bugs (none that I could see, but I'll keep an eye out), and I placed it on a scale that rated it at 5.2lbs, so everything seems to be in order on the quality assurance side of things. All in all, very good product, high amount of protein, low carbs, low calories, and the flavor is spot on. What's not to like? I think I'm just going to throw my old stuff out and drink this from now on

I am mildy lactose intolerant. Regular whey protein (ON Gold Standard Whey) gives me terrible bloating all day long. It's very uncomfortable and takes a while to get the gas out. I also get gassy and bloated (but doesn't take long to gas out as whey) when I eat stuff that has heavy cream or mac n cheese. Some stuff will make me go to the bathroom bad. Just to give you an idea of my intolerance. I don't have any problems with this whey protein at all!! No longer do I have to choose between being bloated all day vs terrible chalky plant protein. This one does cost more than regular whey, but it is still cheaper than the fancier plant protein ones that aren't a terror to drink. It's worth the extra money to me, for the most part.. If you don't understand, this costs more because they filtered out the lactose. This is typically known as just whey isolate, but they hydrolyzed it to add more to the cost and take out more lactose and more. I wish they sold the larger version of the plain iso100, as it should in theory cost less since not hydrolyzed. I had not bloat problems with that one either, but the 5 lb hydrolyzed tub is cheaper than the 3 lb regular tub.. hydrolyzed protein is really only necessary for like pro athletes who need to be fine tuned as there's millions of dollars on the line. Taste is good, but not excellent. It is a bit too sweet, but I guess that's the American way. The regular iso100 is the best flavor for chocolate. The hydrolyzed version is sweeter, which is strange because this model should be marketed to athletes and those who are less likely to have sweets. I'm going to try some other flavors than chocolate. Hoping peanut butter chocolate is less sweet due to the peanut butter. The gourmet chocolate isn't that far off from drinking a liquid twix bar

I have bought this kind for a very long time. I was happy with the quality and the price ( not cheap but affordable). I went to order today and I was shocked to see the 36% increase in price. Last order was placed in the summer. Don't get me wrong I know things go up in price but like this? No way. I'll be looking for other places to buy it. It just seems outrageous to me

I don't write reviews on Amazon so please upvote this, I've been very wary of protein powders, most of them are disgusting, this is the first one ever that has almost zero carbs, and it tastes just like fruity pebbles. The smell and the taste are so similar. I mixed it with water first and it tasted like likey a milky fruity pebbles mix. I've made recommendations to my friends who are all trying protein supplements, this is definitely the lowest hanging fruit, and I highly recommend it. I was worried too as the price is a bit expensive but for protein, you want to have the right mix. I'll leave another update 60 days from now based on my fitness and diet regiment to see if this has an effect
