This definitely helps. It tastes somewhat like a sour patch, but milder. I used it while caring for my nephews who had a cold, and I didn’t catch it even after sharing their plates. My husband had a cold, and I had to reorder some after leaving them at my mum's. Despite exposure, I still got a cold, but it was the least miserable one I've experienced. It resolved quickly, and I didn't feel overly ill, just tired. Sore throat and coughing were not bad either. Consistency with this product is key!
