Turmeric Did the Trick!

I suffer from an autoimmune disease called Hashimoto's Disease which at no predicted time randomly triggers an extremely painful acute inflammation flare over my entire body, but especially with gripping pain and severe spasms in my lower back and hips. I no longer can take NSAIDS which do damage to my kidneys and liver. Acetaminophen or Tylenol both are insufficient taken alone as they cannot help inflammation, only help treat pain. My intelligent daughter is familiar with natural health products and when I experienced another debilitating and painful flare a few months ago, she ordered and had a bottle of this Turmeric caplets product shipped to me immediately. It contains black pepper to help the body absorb it better. I began taking it at once and noticed within three or four days it was helping relieve the severe inflammation and spasms I was experiencing. It was a 60 day bottle of caplets and I continued taking them for 32 days and stopped. I have 28 days remaining and will have them on hand and ready for when the next flare comes. I was both surprised and amazed at how helpful and good they were in my needed treatment. In the past, I was always forced to seek Urgent Care and then be treated with Prednisone. It wasn't necessary this past time as this Turmeric product did the trick and helped me significantly. I ordered myself another bottle to have immediately available and on hand when the next unfortunate flare randomly arrives. This is important: I was advised by my chiropractor it may not be good practice to remain on Turmeric for extended periods of time due to my body getting used to it like immunity to taking a certain antibiotic medication and then my body won't recognize or react to it when I desperately need to take it again. I feel being on it for 30 days is adequate and safe, but if one is still not feeling much better, please consult your physician to be evaluated for required more potent medication. Improved tendinitis and knee pain – love this product!

Before taking this supplement I have had severe Achilles tendinitis for years and also slight soreness in my knee - especially when going down stairs. For the first time I've seen a dramatic reduction in my Achilles pain and my knee pain is gone. I will say I am combining this supplement with exercise, lots of water and clean eating. However I was doing those other steps six months prior with no change in condition. I think the combination of both really works to lower inflammation

Autoimmune disease relief.

I have lupus (an autoimmune condition that can cause significant inflammation damage to the body and mind), and I was told by a doctor friend that turmeric helps with inflammation. I decided to try this, and one month in there is a noticeable improvement to the inflammation and the brain fog and fatigue that the inflammation causes. It isn't curing me or totally getting rid of all issues, of course, but I came into this with skeptical and realistic expectations. I have not been disappointedâ€"I'm even slightly impressed. Still monitoring myself carefully so I can give accurate reviews to others who may be looking for some relief. So far, this works well. The pills are rather large, but easily broken by hand (even for weak, hurt hands). I should mention that I do take other vitamins, but I started taking them well before the turmeric. I believe the turmeric was the thing I was missing. The inflammation persisted until I added that. I take 2 pills daily when experiencing inflammation, and one pill daily after the inflammation subsides. Find what works for you. Good luck, and good health

I have loved and trusted this brand for decades! And this product is no different than any of the others I use. I highly recommend this - it's organic and it's got the right combo of ingredients. For anyone who isn't aware - you MUST have black pepper combined with your turmeric for your body to absorb and use the turmeric. You cant just use the turmeric alone or it wont wor

I have been taking this product for many years because it works for me. This organic product is vegetable based so it does not contain any pesticides. This product has a substance in it called Curcumin. It is known to ease a number of a variety of symptoms like arthritis, upset stomach, and much more. I have had type 2 diabetes for over a decade. This product helps to stabilize my blood glucose. It also reduces inflammation, boosts my immune system, helps balanced my mood, and reduces depression. It helps with knee and back pain, aids digestion, helps regulate cholesterol, and promotes cardiovascular health. My wife is a nurse and my son is a physician's assistant. They recommended this product to me years ago and I am thankful they did. I recommend this product to family, friends, and others looking for a product to aid in the conditions I have mentioned above. I feel better after prolonged use and feel no side effects and my best guess is that most people who use this product can testify to the same. Enjoy

Not for me

I think the dose was too high for me. I started getting random nosebleeds (mostly in the evening). They stopped when I discontinued this turmeric. If the same dose was split into two smaller tablets, I would have continued using at half dose. I love Garden of Life and use several other products, but unfortunately I will go back to my old brand for turmeric

I can't believe how fast this worked

My doctor told me to try taking turmeric and glucosamine (alone, NOT with chondroitin) for crippling knee pain that the arthritis gel did not even touch. I had a hard time getting out of a seated position or out of bed in the morning. Getting in and out of my car to deliver my Meals-on-Wheels route was torture. I tried first just "some kind" of turmeric....took the whole bottle and NOTHING. I thought I would try one more bottle so at least I could tell her I followed her suggestion and I read that this said "inflammatory response". Figuring it would be no different than the first bottle, I could NOT believe that in 2-3 days my pain was G O N E! I don't mean it was "a little better"...it was GONE and has been ever since. Big pill, so I break it in 2 and take 1/2 morning and 1/2 before bedtime. And everyone I have told about this stuff has had the same good luck. This stuff is the bomb

The one product that really reduces inflammation for me

I've been using this for over 2 years. It takes about 1 week for me to notice a difference in reduced inflammation and pain. I've stopped twice for about a month each time, and my back began to flair up (3 herniated discs) within a week, each time. I do my exercises daily, and eat balanced meals. Each time I stopped taking this turmeric combo, it was the only variable that was changed. I have to believe it really helps

Joint stiffness gone!

These arrived Sept 26th and I started taking them that day. Normally after sitting for a long period, like watching a movie or getting out of bed in the morning it takes time, but the next day the stiffness had disappeared! I cannot explain it,,but I'm now able to jump right out of bed in the morning

Must have supplement

Out of all the turmeric supplements I have tried this on is by far the best. Takes pain away fairly quick and as a bonus it has probiotics in them. Give your supplements at least 30 days to work their way into your system before deciding if they work for your body or not
