I adore this product! I take it daily to manage my asthma and COPD while on home oxygen therapy. It effectively keeps my airways clear and enhances the productivity of my cough, helping to eliminate mucus in my lungs. I strongly recommend it for anyone struggling with chest congestion due to various health conditions or infections; it truly works.

Long-lasting relief

Excellent! This product works very well and offers great value. Initially, I used the regular tablets, which only lasted a few hours. These slow-release versions provide relief for up to 12 hours, reducing the need for more tablets. They contain guaifenesin, an expectorant that helps alleviate phlegm and sinus headaches. It's important to note these are not the DM version, which includes a cough suppressant. I avoided the DM variant due to potential interactions with other medications. I find these tablets comfortable to swallow and effective against sinus headaches.

Effective for lung congestion

I absolutely love this! Although I like Costco's version, you need to take multiple pills to match this one. It's convenient and truly helps me breathe. All cold medications seem ineffective once it reaches your lungs; no amount of Tylenol or Theraflu will clear it out like Mucinex does. I've spoken to others who claim it doesn't work, which is false; you're likely taking the wrong strength (600mg vs 1200mg). Mucinex clears my lungs better than anything else.

Maximum strength OTC aid for chest congestion. An allergist recommended Mucinex, which helps to loosen mucus and prevents severe symptoms or infections from allergies. It’s my preferred OTC option to help alleviate chest congestion and can often prevent secondary infections.

Convenient lung relief

Stockpile for good measure :). I absolutely love Mucinex! While I like Costco's, taking this one pill is much more convenient than multiple pills daily. It really helps me breathe. Many cold medications don't work once the flu hits the lungs; no Tylenol or Theraflu can clear it like Mucinex can. Some people insist it doesn't work, but they're likely using the wrong strength. I cut it in half for 600mg and save money while ensuring my lungs stay clear—all winter long, I stock up!

Clears chest congestion

This is the best product I've found for clearing throat and chest congestion. For optimal benefits, drink plenty of water throughout the day. As a pharmacist, I recommend it to my patients and use it myself. After raking and burning leaves, I began using this for a bothersome chest cough. Starting it promptly helped minimise my symptoms and duration.
