We evaluated the effectiveness of vitamin K antagonists (VKAs) in treating left ventricular thrombosis (LVT). Over a year, a cohort of 90 patients was observed for LVT resolution and complications.

By the end of the study, approximately 70% of participants saw their blood clots resolve, with lower success rates linked to factors like reduced heart function. While VKAs showed promise, the treatment's safety profile was also notable, with few severe complications reported.

Vitamin D3 aids in calcium absorption, but it’s vitamin K2 that ensures the calcium is directed where it's needed. Without K2, calcium settles in blood vessels, which can be life-threatening. Taking both D3 and K2 together is essential for health.

We explored how treating patients with osteoporosis with vitamin K2 and D3 could influence back pain and spine fusion rates following surgery. In this study, we included patients who underwent spinal surgery for lumbar degenerative disorders. Some received a combination of vitamin K2, D3, and calcium, while others were treated with only calcium and vitamin D3.

The results showed that those who took vitamin K2 along with their other treatments had improved fusion rates and experienced less back pain. Furthermore, clinical symptoms improved, and there was a marked promotion of bone health within six months after surgery. Notably, the administration of vitamin K2 also helped maintain bone mineral density.

Overall, this research suggests that incorporating vitamin K2 alongside traditional treatments could be beneficial for individuals dealing with back pain related to osteoporosis. It opens the door for more studies on how we might better treat and manage spinal conditions in these patients.

At last, Bone Density Increasing! I've suffered from severe osteopenia since my 30s, and despite a strict vegan diet and supplements, my bone density saw little change. After researching vitamin MK-7, I began taking it 15 months ago, leading to a 25% improvement in bone density. Unexpectedly, my chronic back pain has also lessened. I highly recommend MK-7 to anyone concerned with osteopenia or osteoporosis.

We observed an interesting case involving a 1-month-old infant with significant bruising and severe vitamin K deficiency. This deficiency led to spontaneous thymic hemorrhage, which was identified along with coagulopathy during medical evaluation.

The child had not received vitamin K prophylaxis at birth, which likely contributed to the outcomes we saw. Fortunately, after administering vitamin K, the coagulopathy improved. This case highlights the essential role of vitamin K in preventing serious bleeding issues in infants.

The drug has proven to be effective! I've observed that I no longer have household bruises, which were frequent before taking it. These were typically caused by minor bumps and procedures. After just a week of use, I noticed a complete absence of bruises, even those from cosmetic injections. Just a note of caution for anyone with Gilbert's Syndrome, as it may raise bilirubin levels, but generally, for healthy individuals, this is a fantastic option. I combine it with vitamin D for optimal results.

We explored the link between dietary vitamin K intake and knee pain in patients suffering from osteoarthritis. Over two years, we followed 259 participants, measuring their vitamin K intake and knee symptoms using established assessment tools.

Our findings revealed that higher vitamin K intake was associated with a noticeable reduction in knee pain. For those with severe pain at the beginning, the benefits were even clearer. However, we did not find significant impacts on knee structure based on MRI scans.

This suggests that further trials on vitamin K supplementation for knee pain may be valuable, especially for those experiencing severe symptoms.

We explored the effects of vitamin K2 on arteriosclerosis by examining its impact on calcium and phosphorus levels in the aorta and the elastin fraction in male rats. This study was designed to assess how vitamin K2 (at doses of 100 mg/kg and 50 mg/kg) compares to vitamin E (at 40 mg/kg) in preventing the changes induced by a vitamin D2 and atherogenic diet that led to arteriosclerosis.

Our findings were promising. Both vitamin K2 and vitamin E appeared to inhibit increases in calcium and phosphorus levels in the aorta among the rats with arteriosclerosis. Specifically, the higher dose of vitamin K2 not only prevented these increases but also suppressed their deposition in the aorta. However, we observed that vitamin K3 and geranylgeraniol did not show similar benefits or radical scavenging activity.

Furthermore, both vitamin K2 and vitamin E demonstrated an ability to scavenge lipid radicals in vitro, indicating a potential mechanism for their protective effects. Overall, our study suggests that vitamin K2 may be an effective ally in managing arterial health by combating arteriosclerosis through these radical scavenging properties.

Research using 360mcg a day to decalcify arteries has been beneficial for me. I’ve consistently returned to this product after learning about its role in decalcifying arterial plaque. Taking three and a half of these small, easy-to-swallow capsules daily is worthwhile, as there are few options that can reverse arteriosclerosis and vascular changes in the blood vessels. It truly feels like gaining another chance at life. Additionally, a shallow cavity I had vanished when I visited the dentist after using this product daily for several months. I’ve also noticed I have no tartar on my teeth since starting this routine.

A must! With hypothyroidism, I took Vitamin D-3 and Omega-3 for quite some time. The results were pleasing, but I consistently faced issues with magnesium absorption. The endocrinologist at our clinic didn't even prescribe D3, let alone K-2 MK-7. Thankfully, an endocrinologist from the Clinic Kalinchenko S.Yu. provided me with a substantial and correct dosage of Vitamin D-3 and Omega-3. I am incredibly grateful to this clinic, which I approached for assistance due to my challenging hereditary background. Before my visit, my blood became thicker each year, and only Hirudotherapy helped me, requiring systemic leech treatments every two weeks. Long breaks between treatments did not yield lasting results, and blood-thinning medications harmed my gastrointestinal tract affected by celiac disease. I hope that everyone who reads my review appreciates the necessity of both D-3 and Omega-3; their quality from this site is endlessly satisfactory. I look forward to ordering again.

We investigated the role of GAS6 in promoting remyelination, particularly in relation to vitamin K's effect on a type of receptor.

Our findings highlight that GAS6 needs to be modified through vitamin K for proper function.

When introduced to wild-type mice, this treatment significantly increased the number of myelinated axons compared to a control group.

However, in mice lacking the specific Tyro3 receptor, no significant improvement was noted. This indicates that Tyro3 is crucial for the effectiveness of GAS6 in aiding recovery for conditions like multiple sclerosis.

We studied how vitamin K2 influences bone regeneration in diabetic rats, especially focusing on its effects on healing critical-size defects in the skull. In our experiment, we included both non-diabetic and diabetic rats to see how this vitamin fares in conditions known to hinder healing.

With a diverse set of control and experimental groups, we treated some rats with vitamin K2 while others received a saline solution. After four weeks, we assessed bone healing through various tests, including looking at new bone formation and specific proteins linked to bone health.

The results were promising! We found that vitamin K2 significantly enhanced bone healing, especially when combined with a bone graft. New bone formation was notably higher in the groups treated with vitamin K2 compared to those that weren’t. Moreover, levels of osteocalcin and osteopontin—two key markers for bone health—were also elevated in these groups.

Overall, our findings suggest that vitamin K2 could be a beneficial addition to treatments aimed at improving bone regeneration in diabetic patients. This avenue offers interesting possibilities for enhancing recovery strategies in individuals with similar conditions.

We examined how Menaquinone-4, a form of vitamin K2, could help protect the heart during a critical event known as ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury, which often occurs after heart attacks. In our study, we used thirty-two rats, dividing them into three groups: a control group that experienced I/R without treatment, a group that received MK-4 before the injury, and another group that got MK-4 at the beginning of the recovery phase.

By using a specialized apparatus to assess heart function, we measured various indicators of heart health, including the pressure the heart could generate and rates of heart contractions. We also examined markers of heart damage and stress, like enzymes and inflammatory signals.

Our findings were promising. The group that received MK-4 after the I/R injury showed a significant reduction in the size of heart damage, alongside improved heart function. This group also had lower levels of markers related to heart stress and damage, indicating that MK-4 might help the heart recover from the stress of a heart attack. Overall, these results suggest that vitamin K2 could be a valuable ally in enhancing heart health during recovery from ischemic events.
