I'm very pleased with this potassium supplement; it has helped my husband avoid seizures. Previously, I ordered magnesium regularly, but he still experienced occasional seizures. The doctor recommended potassium, and after using it, the convulsions disappeared within days. We alternate between magnesium and potassium, or take them separately. I particularly like KAL magnesium (malate) and decided to add this potassium to support my heart.

We explored how a specific potassium channel opener, Retigabine, impacts thalamic neuron functionality in autoimmune encephalomyelitis, a model for Multiple Sclerosis. In the study, we created localized inflammatory lesions in the brains of mice to mimic the disease effects.

By testing Retigabine, we observed its potential to improve neuron excitability and information processing in these affected areas. The results indicate that this treatment might effectively reduce the adverse effects of inflammation on the brain, supporting its role as a neuroprotective agent.

We investigated the qualities of faba bean blanching water, especially its potential effects on cholesterol levels. This study showed that the processing water, packed with protein and minerals, especially potassium, might have cholesterol-lowering abilities due to its inhibitory effects on HMG-CoA reductase—a key enzyme in cholesterol production. The results were promising, indicating around 67% inhibition of this enzyme, which could benefit those looking to manage cholesterol without extensive dietary changes. Overall, faba bean blanching water can be a sustainable option with health perks.

It is essential for every home with an elderly person or someone with high cholesterol. I’m grateful to my father for highlighting his condition. I measure his pressure and when it's high, he takes two potassium tablets and drinks two cups of water. His pressure decreases naturally without needing to visit a hospital.

We examined a unique case of an 18-month-old boy diagnosed with Gitelman syndrome, a rare condition leading to developmental delays.

His symptoms included psychomotor retardation and low potassium levels. Genetic tests confirmed mutations in the SLC12A3 gene, responsible for this condition.

After oral potassium supplementation, we observed remarkable improvement in his potassium levels and developmental progress. This case highlights the importance of recognizing Gitelman syndrome in young children with growth and developmental issues, as early treatment can lead to positive outcomes.

This supplement is vital for homes with elderly or hypertensive individuals. I’m thankful my father highlighted its benefits for high blood pressure. When it's elevated, I administer two potassium pills and water, which lowers the pressure naturally, avoiding the need for emergency medical assistance related to food poisoning.

We explored the potential connection between dietary potassium intake and the occurrence of severe headaches or migraines. Utilizing data from over 10,000 US adults gathered through a national health survey from 1999 to 2004, we conducted a thorough analysis.

While we found that higher potassium intake was linked to a lower likelihood of migraines, the relationship appeared to be L-shaped, suggesting that there might be an optimal level of intake rather than a straightforward benefit. There's no strong evidence that potassium dramatically decreases headache frequency, but it does seem to play a role worth noting.

We examined whether activating M-type potassium channels in the left stellate ganglion could help manage heart issues during acute myocardial ischemia (AMI). In our study involving beagles, some received an M-channel activator called retigabine before inducing AMI.

The results were promising—we noticed that retigabine reduced excessive sympathetic activity, leading to fewer arrhythmias. Moreover, it allowed for better heart rhythm stability and increased resistance to ventricular fibrillation compared to those who did not receive treatment. These insights suggest that targeting M-channels could be a valuable approach in reducing heart rhythm disturbances during ischemic events.

We explored whether riluzole could help ease bone pain caused by prostate cancer. Using a mouse model that mimicked human bone cancer pain, we treated some mice with riluzole while others were not.

Our findings indicated that riluzole significantly reduced pain sensitivity without hindering cancer progression or bone health. This treatment seems effective in offering relief from unpleasant pain sensations associated with bone metastases.

We explored the potential of ICA-105574, an HERG activator, to combat severe mutations that cause long QT syndrome type 2 (LQT2). Using both animal models and cellular simulations, we found that ICA-105574 effectively shortened QT intervals and restored critical potassium currents in cellular models with specific HERG mutations. Our results indicate that compounds like ICA-105574 could be valuable in treating LQT2, and that advanced simulations can aid in designing future HERG activators.

I often face puffiness, which led me to overuse diuretics impacting my heart. I decided to try this product, and it yielded excellent results. Throughout the course, I didn’t require a diuretic at all, and my legs feel normal again. I've purchased a second jar as the pricing was fair during my initial buy, and the results truly satisfied me.
