I have tried other elderberry products and it was a waste. Love this one. This one you can use everyday. The other one that has echinacea should only be used up to 10 days. Read More...This is a miracle for kids with colds, flu or any other type of gunky virus. The kids get the same gross stuff every year. Colds, coughs, you name it. When we were about to have a new baby in the house, I insisted they start taking this when they first got symptoms of a cold. I can't believe how amazing it works. It doesn't take everything away within an hour, but if you give it to your kids when they start getting sick, they don't get worse. Mine usually stay the same for a couple of days, or sometimes if we catch it early enough, they will be much better the next day. I think the key is that you might not notice a huge difference like if you were to take antibiotics, but they definitely don't get worse. It's amazing. My 10 year old didn't like the taste at first, but she was smart enough to not want to get sick so she drank it. After the first few times she got used to it. My 13 year old with sensory issues doesn't drink this stuff but will take the capsules. After my baby turned a year old, we started giving it to him too. It's fantastic that there is something non-prescription that you can give when your little ones are so miserable that will help them get better. I wish more parents knew about how awesome elderberry is!!! I don't give this everyday as a preventative measure, only when we see any sort of symptoms such as cough, sneezing, sore throat, runny nose, tiredness. I will also say that my 10 year old prefers the taste of this over the non-organic stuff by the same company. It's in a pink bottle. It's much cheaper, but she likes the taste of this one better. Read More...If your child is getting sick, I think it helps shorten the length of time and severity. If it's too late and they are fully sick, it helps with coughing. Seems to work better than a large name brand. BUT it does take a few doses during the day to take full effect. When my child started school, she brought home so many colds, we got desperate. We got her the kids and the adult version for us. As soon as sniffles start, we all start taking elderberry and vitamin c and eat yogurt for a few days. Seems to have cut the colds in half
