Overall, this is a very well-built pill organizer. I was surprised by how thick the plastic was. There is more weight to it than other pill organizers at this price point (but it is not too heavy/the weight would not be a problem for anyone).
Each day of the week has a removable pill case that is divided in half, with one half marked by a sun (for morning/daytime) and the other with a crescent moon (for evening/bedtime).
The writing and symols are very large and it is white font on black background, so it is very easy to read without your glasses!
The outer case holding the seven daily cases is very thick translucent black plastic.
The daily pill cases are made of a slightly thinner, but more opaque, plastic. It is transparent enough to see whether the case is empty without opening it,, but opaque enough that it would be difficult for the pills to be identified without opening the case.
The outer carrying case actually has slots for each of the daily pill cases, so you can, for example, take out Wednesday without moving Tuesday or Thursday. Having the slots is a nice upgrade compared to other systems in this price point where the individual daily cases just stack. The slotting also makes the outer case more durable.
While very high quality, I wanted to note that everything is plastic, including the hinges and the front that snaps close. While that does not leave any parts that can come apart if dropped, you are folding back plastic every time you open a case, which can eventually crack over time. I would expect this to last a while, as the plastic is so thick that it would take a while before the opening/closing wore it down, but it probably would not last multiple lifetimes.
The only other thing to note is that the day of the week is upside down when the pill case is facing up. This is purely a quirk and not a problem, as the pill cases will be store in the case on their side and the cases snap securely closed, so you do not have to worry about anything coming out when you flip it over.
I would strongly recommend this case if you are taking large sized supplements (or other pills), as the capacity is fantastic on these. You can even fit a few wrapped cough drops within each half of each day, whereas I struggle to cram one in to most pill cases
