Amazing for underweight kids

Anyone that has a child with any type of food aversion or issues with eating knows how frustrating and scary it can be. The feeding tube option is always looming over you, and you feel like you are constantly trying to force feed your child. It really is a tremendous amount of stress. My youngest has had to go on a feeding tube before, he just refused to eat. I remember telling and telling his doctor every month when he was under a year old that he wasn't eating anything and refused to even try any food at all. And every month it was, “give it another month and we will see how he is progressing”, month after month. Until he was in the 2% of weight for his age at just under a year old and would still not eat any thing but breast milk… finally the doctor was as alarmed as I had been for months! That was last year and after having to be on a feeding tube for quite a while, we are slowly getting him back on track. pediaSure has been a godsend for us. He won't only drink it, but he loves it and asks for it all the time! Sure the price is high, but as any parent that has a child that needs this will tell you I don't mind paying it! Pricey…but needed for my failure to thrive kids

I grateful pediasure exists and that I am able to purchase it. I do wish it was more cost efficient as it creates a large amount of our grocery budget. My son has been on it for a while now as we push to get through feeding therapy to address sensory processing issues. It has helped him grain weight and allows him to get additional vitamin in his already lacking diet. My son is mostly non verbal but seems to really like the chocolate flavor

I buy these to give my son since he will not eat vegetables. Makes up for the vitamins and nutrition he may be missing

Chocolatey and sweet

This kids' shake has all the good and necessary stuff for my child, and it tastes great. The shake is very sweet even though it has only nine grams of added sugar (a typical vanilla yogurt has about 15 grams of sugar for comparison), and I almost did not like the shake because it was way too sweet (for my taste). However, my child loves it. The shake is chocolatey and sweet, and nothing else matters. To me though, what matters are the nutrients. This shake has probiotics for my child's gut health, and it has DHA, protein, and all the important vitamins and minerals for the growth and immunity support. I pack one bottle daily into my child's lunch bag, and he has not complained about being hungry after eating his school lunch and consuming this shake as a late-in-the-school-day-snack . So overall, this sweet chocolate shake works for us. I wish it came in a paper cartoon or something that is more environmentally friendly instead of all plastic packaging. The price seems to be reasonable (around $2 per bottle), in my opinion

Nice nutrition; decent chocolate milk flavor; expensive

I'm an adult trying this PediaSure drink, not a young child, so I can't really say whether or not a small child would enjoy this. I had previously tried the vanilla flavor, which I thought was a little disappointing, but I think this chocolate flavor is more successful. It mostly tastes like chocolate milk but a little thicker and creamier. I do like all of the vitamins and minerals this has, especially the amount of potassium. I also like that it's fairly low on sodium. It does have a lot of carbs, but if the goal is weight gain, that's probably not bad, especially since only 9g of the 32g of carbs comes from sugars. This is fairly pricey at more than $2 a bottle, which means you'd be spending $65 a month or so just to give your kid one of these per day, but perhaps that's worth it, especially if a kid who doesn't like a lot of things does like this. I don't know how this compares to similar products, so I don't know if there is something else that is a better value. The box contains four 6-packs. Each has the bottles wrapped in plastic rings, which I don't like for environmental reasons

Perfect supplement for our 5 year old

We have a picky 5 year old and eats particular foods. We served him his chilled pediasure shakes in a clear Starbucks tumbler and top it with some whipped cream. He loves his “starbucksâ€

Bought this for my 2 yr old

My 2 year old loves the chocolate taste and she is super picky eater so I would buy another one. Buy if your child is a bit under weight and loves chocolate drinks

Packed full of vitamins, rich chocolatey flavor

These PediaSure Grow & Gain drinks are PERFECT for parents with picky eaters on their hands. Some kids simply don't like many foods and their nutrition is severely lacking because of it. While these drinks do contain 9 grams of sugar per bottle, they also contain A LOT of other nutrients. Some parents might frown on something like this being given as a meal replacement but if your child is super picky and won't eat much of anything, these are a godsend!!! The consistency is like a thick chocolate milk, very easy to drink and not at all gritty. The flavor is VERY kid friendly. It's rich, sweet (without being sickening sweet), and super chocolatey. There isn't any medicinal or metallic aftertastes. It really does taste like a sweet, yummy chocolate milk. We tried these in both chocolate and vanilla and the kids ALL strongly preferred the chocolate. These are perfect for seniors, too, because they are easy to drink and contain a lot of nutrition. In my opinion, they are similar to Ensure for adults but taste A LOT better!!! I love that you can buy a whole 24-bottle case and not have to worry about battling all the in store out of stocks. Super convenient
