I do not understand why you can not leave only natural stuff in products. I open the bottle so it is one that it is lost, my fault for not reading all the information. I won't buy this product again
Read More...The product contains Titanium Dioxide Color. When I called Puritan's Pride to ask why I was told that it is added to "enhance the color." So it is strictly for cosmetic reasons. I wanted a vitamin c supplement to swallow, not to put on display. I will not be re-ordering again. The good is that there is no added sweeteners, salt, preservatives or gluten. A natural product, so why add coloring

These are not tiny pills, they are just short of an inch, and so if you are scared of fairly thick size pills then you might have a hard time. Me personally, I don't really care, but I do notice that size of them doesn't make it too easy to go down hahaha, you just need to drink a lot of water. Also, the pills look like you can open the capsules and just remove the powder (I havent tried that personally but maybe you could and let us know how that works out?) But other than that, these are good pills for the price you pay and I would definitely buy these again if I need to

I take one every night and two if I was in a social situation where I had caffeine later ( it neutralizes the caffeine so I can sleep). If I sense a wee bit of sniffle or I've been around a lot of ill folks I ramp up to 5 a couple of times a day.... that has been a terrific buffer for me... totally sickness free winter

Read More...I generally Puritan Pride products, but this will be an exception. This product contains Titanium Dioxide. Titanium Dioxide is used for whitening agent. If you've ever used sunscreen, you've probably noticed that it is a white cream. Titanium Dioxide makes the sunscreen white. Titanium Dioxide is also used to make clear plastic look white. Think of bleach containers or pill bottles. It's also used in paper and cosmetics among other things. Titanium Dioxide is a carcinogen, which means it causes CANCER. (Oncol, 2011). In fact, according to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, Titanium Dioxide "nanoparticles are classified as 'possible carcinogenic to humans.'" Also, I read here in comments that some people have been taking this thing for many years. In a study published in the U.S. National Library of Medicine â€" National Institute of Health (NIH), Oncol documented that "we do not have reliable data on its . . . toxicity on oral exposure." Further, in animal studies, a long-term exposure to Titanium Dioxide induced a "range of sub-lethal effects." If Puritan Pride takes consumer health seriously, the company must stop using this ingredient that belongs in plastic
