Bright light therapy and ADHD
Correcting delayed circadian phase with bright light therapy predicts improvement in ADHD symptoms: A pilot study.
We explored how bright light therapy (BLT) can influence ADHD symptoms, especially in individuals with sleep-wake rhythm delays. The study involved participants undergoing standard treatments along with two weeks of morning BLT, which successfully advanced melatonin release and sleep timing.
As a result, we observed a significant reduction in ADHD symptoms, particularly in hyperactivity and impulsivity. Although the therapy did not change sleep quality significantly, it highlighted potential as a complementary approach to traditional ADHD treatments.
This study marks an encouraging step in finding effective alternatives for managing ADHD symptoms.

Most Useful Review
Sleep support for my ADHD child has been essential. This product is ideal for my child, who previously received tablets from the paediatrician. However, those are not covered by PBS in Australia and were quite expensive. My child prefers gummies over tablets, making this product a win in terms of cost and ease of use. Since incorporating melatonin into her dinner and bedtime routine, she’s been ready for sleep without frustration. It’s a great product with the right dosage, size, taste, and quality.
