I've hit the age that one compartment per day in the pill organizer no longer works. Mine has now been passed down to my son. I'm an organizational nut and refuse to take all those bottles in a ziplock bag. After doing a fair amount of research, I landed on this one and ordered it with skepticism. My skepticism increased when I saw how small it was. I'm pleased to report this pill organizer is more than I hoped for. It does carry a deceptively large number of pills/vitamins. I take so many vitamins it's a chore, yet they all went in the mid-day section.
The added mesh sleeve is a wonderful plus. I used it for my "might-need" medicines. It's perfect for the flat, pre-packaged cold med slabs you get with a lot of boxed OTC meds. Or you can use 2"x3" ziplock baggies to put a few ibuprofen, etc. in. It's my just in case section.
A few things to be aware of:
1: With any pill organizer, it's important that you know what your pills look like. Just as a precautionary measure since the whole purpose of these organizational cases is not to lug your pill and vitamin bottles along.
2: That lovely mesh pocket described above, cannot take an inhaler, pill bottle, and the like. The case does NOT expand. it will only take a limited number of flat-ish items.
3: It's easy to over-fill the med compartments. It will close if you've gone one too far, but if you don't hear the pill section's *click* when shutting....rearrange. I know because I tried and thought better of it.
One last note, the case has a smiley face, happy message patch on the front. It's small and easily overlooked, but when I did see it---I smiled. That's a nice little touch to help you not begrudge taking all those supplements and meds while traveling! Bravo!
