10oz is a good size

I used to buy other Ensure products (High Protein, Enlive), but found that their 8oz size was a bit too small for me, and I often ended up drinking a couple in a row, which was a bit too much. The Strawberry taste is the same for the whole product line, which is nice considering I really enjoy it. Like a lot of other reviewers have said, beware the amount of sugar in each bottle (15g), but I guess that's how you get to 350 calories. At least they have 30g of protein and 4g of fiber which is a great ratio for me. Whenever I have the time, I enjoy taking it out of the fridge and into the freezer for an hour, which turns it into a kind of thick milkshake slushie after shaking vigorously

Outstanding Product

Got the Ensure Complete for my 95 year old Mom who was sent home from the hospital not eating well and losing weight rapidly. I started her on the Complete as soon as she got home and she loved the flavor of both the chocolate and the vanilla. After a few days of just being on the Complete, her appetite started picking up and she started eating regular food along with the Complete. After two weeks, her weight and her health have stabilized. Having a nutritionally complete shake available was exactly what was needed and I am so thankful to have found it. I would recommend this product to anyone who is recuperating from an illness or injury and is unable to meet their daily nutritional and caloric requirements by regular means

Good for elderly problem eaters.

Expensive stuff, but what nutritional supplements aren't. Good for an elder with severe COPD and no appetite who has lost 40% of body weight. Calories are easy to deliver with Boost Breeze juice products but most high protein drinks don't taste very good. This one is potent and tastes better than others and has helped us gain some weight......so, worth the price

Great for dad with throat cancer

My dad is going through chemo / radiation so is mostly just on an ensure diet. This is the only flavor he can stand (throat radiation ruins his tastebuds ). The ensure completes have more protein per shake, perfect for someone who is struggling to eat or drink (more bang per bottle.) hard to find in local targets or even Walgreens . I found some at higher end groceries like vons. But 4 for $13. I rather buy in bulk and save a little , my dads going through 4-6 a day. 24 packs is more convenien

Meal Replacements are meant to Replace Meals

Okay so these are Meal Replacement shakes. They are meant to do exactly that - replace a meal. As such these come in with higher calorie counts than most protein shakes so if you're upset with the calorie count this isn't the product you should be looking to pick up. 350 Calories - 30G of protein - 38G net carbs this works for getting calories, protein, and some needed vitamins and minerals into a person. We use these normally for a very elderly set of grandparents who don't always have the best stomach for a normal meal these days but drink these shakes just fine. I also found them quite useful after dental surgery while on a liquid diet for a few days to make sure I was getting enough calories. The problem with just protein shakes is they aren't usually that caloric to fill you out for they day. Ensure is handling the calorie boost with Corn Syrup - while I'm not thrilled by it its not the worst choice and is the easy way to add the calories without messing up the flavor profile. Flavor wise this has a good vanilla bean flavoring to it; nothing overly chemical or fake about it. The drink is smooth, nothing chalky, and tastes better cold. Overall price per bottle is reasonable and it's filling a meal replacement need that is key for some here and I'm comfortable with continuing to buy/use it

We've gone through 3 cases

Bought three different flavors. The strawberry has a very creamy and rich flavor, and easy to hold. The price is good for 10oz per bottle. I want to know where can you get a filling nutritious meal with all your nutrients for less than $3.00 per bottle! We're on our second case and have used 72 bottles in our last purchase!

EXACTLY what I was looking for!

My elderly husband is in a very bad way and is on the decline, weighing only 108# now. He is literally wasting away so he needs both calories AND protein. Up until now, I have been unable to find a high calorie AND a high protein drink for him locally, so I've been alternating between purchasing the two because he needs BOTH. I was thrilled to find these on Amazon and he's actually trying to drink 1 a day instead of 1 every 3 days so the taste is good for him. It's more expensive of course, which is hard on a fixed income BUT... you gotta do what you gotta do. VERY PLEASED with this product. And the subscription feature also allows me to save a few bucks

A balanced meal replacement shake with a very natural taste.

My husband has Chron's Disease and, while it is largely under control now, he has a terrible time keeping weight on. (Something many of us wish we could say!) He works very hard and burns tons of calories but can't eat huge meals because they will upset his stomach or worse. He just doesn't get enough calories and nutrients in. His doctor suggested this exact brand of meal replacement shake for him to add to his regular meals but he refused to consider it thinking the shakes were for very old, frail people and he is anything but frail. When I saw these Ensure COMPLETE Nutrition Shakes being offered, I snagged them. If my husband didn't like them, I would have had them as a meal replacement on busy days. I actually will probably grab one when I am rushing around rather than grabbing fast food. My husband tried his first bottle a few weeks ago and, to my (and his) surprise, he likes the taste. The shakes don't taste chalky or artificial at all. He has since started to make smoothies, tossing some banana pieces or other fruits in and blending them. He loves the taste and it is much more like a dessert than a meal replacement shake. He gets a ton of good protein, nutrients, and calories. While 350 calories may seem high for a traditional protein shake, these are meant to replace a meal. They are also great for adding needed calories and nutrients for people like my husband or others who don't eat well or who need to gain weight

Great for this on the go mom

Taste good to me and I personally don't care for chocolate that much. I was quite surprised that the taste has a nice thicker consistency to it and is creamy. I can see maybe it being too overpowering for some but I feel it ahs just the right sweetness for me. These are great for on the go when I don't have time to make breakfast or eat a snack. They are very good meal replacements with tons of upsides like: 25 vitamins and minerals like zinc, vitamin A, and antioxidantsâ€"vitamins C and E. 30grams of protein and only 150 calories. The BIGGEST thing for me is that I have a hard teem with milk based products and these do not upset my stomach. Great for people who are lactose intolerant. The chocolate even has a version with 100 mg of caffeine in it. even mire convenient if you are on the go, can have your coffee and meal replacement in one. At $3 a pop some might find these a little costly but they seem to be on par for a high quality meal replacement drink

24 pack of 10oz Ensure drinks – 30g protein, 15g added sugars, 42g carbohydrates, 350 calories

I was a bit surprised when I received this 24 pack of Ensure COMPLETE Nutrition Shake in chocolate flavor. I didn't read over the entire nutrition label prior to ordering, and I was very surprised when I received this, the amount of calories, and also what the primary ingredients are, and I will get into that, in a moment. Ensure has a large selection of different products, and some of them do have added sugars, but this one here, after looking it over, tasting it, and comparing it to another Ensure product that also has 30g of protein, this Ensure COMPLETE Nutrition Shake strikes me as almost like, soda with a lot of protein, vitamins, etc. I ordered Chocolate flavor, and that is what this tastes like, a sweet chocolate taste. The consistency is fine for a protein drink, it's also only 10oz, so it's not much to drink. What really surprised me about this Ensure Complete Nutrition Shake, are the ingredients. This shake is touted as a meal replacement, and does have: 350 - Calories 8g - Total Fat 42g - Total Carbohydrate 4g - Dietary Fiber 15g - Total Sugars 30g - Protein Here are the main ingredients: - Water - Corn Syrup - Milk Protein Concentrate - Sugar - Calcium Caseinate - Cocoa Powder - Canola Oil - Soy Protein Isolate - Short-Chain Fructooligosaccharides All ingredients after that, are, "Less than 0.05% of". The first ingredients are the most predominant in the drink, and within the first 5 ingredients the 2nd most abundant ingredient in the drink is Corn Syrup and the 4th most is Sugar. Wow. Another Ensure product I have used is, "Ensure Max Protein Nutrition Shake". This drink from Ensure also has 30g of protein, but only 150 calories. Here is what that product looks like, compared to above: 150 - Calories 1.5g - Total Fat 6g - Total Carbohydrate 2g - Dietary Fiber 1g - Total Sugars 30g - Protein Here are the main ingredients: - Water - Milk Protein Concentrate - Calcium Caseinate - Cocoa Powder All of the ingredients after that, are less than 0.05%. If you're just looking for a protein-heavy drink, without all the Extra Sugars, Soy, Calories, Ensure Max Protein Nutrition Shake is a better option, it also has 30g of protein, though it does have much less carbs and fat. The taste of that drink is fine, though of course, not as sweet as this Ensure Complete Nutrition Shake in this listing. Both have similar levels of vitamins, minerals, etc. This Ensure COMPLETE Nutrition Shake drink is OK, but it really is loaded with Corn Syrup and Sugar. Compared to Ensure's other Max Protein drink that also has 30g of protein, all this Complete Nutrition shake seems to have going extra for it are the sugars, carbs, and 200 extra calories
