Read More...I don't understand how anybody can get sick from taking these.......I've been using them for two years. I take them with or without food or water or anything and they have no deleterious effect. What they do is energize me. I'm 64, retired, and really active. I walk at least 5 miles a day in the winter in snow or any condition and mountain bike and play tennis like crazy in warm weather. These vitamins definitely hop me up and make me want to go forever. I never connected that feeling to these vitamins until I ran out. The effect was definitely due to them. I'm suspicious of this many bad reviews, almost as if a competitor is behind them. I don't believe any of them. One other thing. They tend to suppress my appetite some. Pretty good side effect

Read More...Got this for my guy who works and walks 5-6 miles daily in the course of his job. He was feeling tired/fatigued, so I got him this. After a couple weeks, he started complaining of stomach pains, abdominal pain and lower back pain. He went to see his doctor and his blood test registered high inflammation. Otherwise, he was fine. I remembered that he was sensitive to the binders/inert ingredients in the generic version of a prescription, and we thought maybe it was the vitamin. The doctor advised discontinuing the vitamin and once he stopped taking it, the symptoms subsided and cleared up nearly right away. I can't recommend due to this adverse reaction, but you may be fine and not have adverse reactions to the pill binders/ingredients

Read More...Magnesium. I'm 40 years old and pretty active. My entire life I've been prone to calf strains (Charlie Horses). That's where you get that intense pain in the upper calf and your muscle balls up into this huge hard mass. I used to get them alot (about once a year) I haven't now in 5 years. It's probably because I'm very conscious of drinking alot of water both before and during activity, but I attribute some of the credit to these little pills. For those who don't know, water, magnesium, and potassium are the three ingredients muscles need to contract and relax efficiently. Potassium is hard to supplement because you can overdose on it and vitamin pills will never have more than a very small percentage of your RDA. Fortunately, it is easy to get a good supply from everyday foods without thinking much of it. I used to get magnesium pills but when I saw these, I figured why not? You get 50% of your magnesium RDA which is enough for me. Make sure it's the Pro Edge not the regular "One a Day". I have scanned all the other multivitamins at the drug store and none of them come close to 50% RDA for magnesium
