Stopped pelvic pain
Most Useful Review
A unique remedy for pelvic pain during pregnancy. My wife suffered severe pain in her leg veins. Special stockings provided temporary relief, but wearing and removing them was challenging. Following our doctor's advice, we incorporated this vitamin into her routine, along with 2000 mg of Vitamin C. After two weeks, her pain ceased entirely and didn't return until delivery. Although she took other supplements like calcium, magnesium, and prenatal vitamins, this particular combination worked wonders. Highly recommended!

Vitamin E's potential in leg cramps
Are there alternatives to the use of quinine to treat nocturnal leg cramps?
Most Relevant Research
We explored the potential role of vitamin E in treating leg cramps, particularly in populations such as those undergoing dialysis. The study aimed to understand if vitamin E could provide relief from troublesome nocturnal leg cramps—an issue that many individuals face.

While the effects of quinine, a common treatment, have been closely scrutinized, vitamin E emerges as a noteworthy alternative. Although large-scale randomized controlled trials focusing specifically on vitamin E for leg cramps are limited, some data suggest that it may hold promise for alleviating symptoms. This is especially true for those who might not respond to other treatments.

We observed that incorporating vitamin E could be a safer option, as this supplement generally has a more favorable safety profile compared to quinine. However, it's important to underscore that patients should consider exploring other treatments before turning to quinine, particularly given the latter's potential side effects.

Sciatica symptoms alleviated
Most Useful Review
After injuring my back in an accident and developing sciatica, I learned that Vitamin E significantly lessens my symptoms. This dry form produced the best results I’ve ever experienced. I took it daily for ten days and my excruciating nerve pain down my legs vanished. I stopped taking it briefly, but my sciatica returned painfully. Resuming the supplements made the pain disappear again, and it has been over two months since. I will only use this Vitamin E from now on.

Cardiovascular support
Most Useful Review
I appreciate the form, price, and dosage! Vitamin E protects cell membranes and DNA by trapping free radicals, reducing the oxidation of bad LDL cholesterol, which helps in managing high cholesterol. It also has anti-inflammatory and vasodilatory properties, making it cardioprotective. Everyone should consider vitamin E, especially as it absorbs better with fats (like porridge with butter). Take care of yourself!

Fends off colds
Most Useful Review
This vitamin is excellent for keeping colds at bay. I love that it’s vegan-friendly. When I’m in good health, I take this to fend off colds, and since 2008, I haven’t needed a flu shot. This vitamin enhances blood circulation and promotes healing, making it beneficial for both internal and external use.

Vitamin E reduces hot flashes
Curcumin and vitamin E improve hot flashes, lipid profile, and fasting blood glucose without any detrimental effect on the liver and renal function in postmenopausal women: A triple-blind placebo-controlled clinical trial.
Most Relevant Research
We conducted a study with eighty-four postmenopausal women to see how vitamin E affects hot flashes, among other health markers. The participants were divided into three groups and received either Vitamin E, Curcumin, or a placebo for eight weeks.

Our findings revealed that vitamin E significantly reduced the frequency of hot flashes by nearly one-third compared to those taking the placebo. This reduction was accompanied by improvements in several health indicators, including lower serum triglyceride levels and enhanced high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol.

Furthermore, vitamin E also showed positive effects on liver health markers. Overall, it appears that vitamin E is effective not only in alleviating hot flashes but also in improving some aspects of the lipid profile in postmenopausal women, without adverse effects on liver or kidney function.

After a few days on this supplement, both my husband and I experienced nausea and fatigue. Unusually, we even took a 3-hour nap due to feeling ill. I've since stopped taking it and am starting to feel normal again.
