Very helpful for sleep. I found this to be very beneficial for my insomnia. It is a relatively low-cost and natural treatment for my sleeplessness. If this doesn't work, I add valerian. I can take a 10mg dose of Ambien and still remain awake. Melatonin's lower doses are not strong enough for me, but they assist in improving my sleep quality.

We investigated how melatonin affects patients with obstructive sleep apnea and insomnia. In a double-blind trial, thirty patients received either 10 mg of melatonin or a placebo for a month.
