A Gift for your Eyes

I discovered the first AREDs study formula on line some years ago and purchased my own supplements to fill the list. Not a fan of pharmaceutical companies, I didn't know about nor did I look for a prepared version of the formula. I was also unaware of the AREDs2 study until very recently. Still, when asked at my ophthalmologist's office if I was taking the AREDs supplements I said yes... I was wrong. For the last six months I've been receiving injections for wet macular degeneration in my right eye but, judging by my second to last exam, they seemed to have run their course and were no longer having the desired positive effect. In the month between then and my most recent visit I discovered Bausch and Lomb's PreserVision AREDs2 formula and made the leap. I love these. No more keeping stocked with and choking down a half dozen supplement capsules; no more upset stomach from the zinc; and no more missing my doses for days at a time due to both of the above. Best of all, my peripheral vision has begun improving again and parts of the dark mass in the center of my eye are becoming translucent! I went to my ophthalmologist earlier this week. He was considering discontinuing the injections until I told him about the improvement I had been seeing this month. He got excited about what he saw when he looked at the back of my eye and decided to proceed with the injection one more time. I can't tell you how glad I am to have found this product. Bausch and Lomb got it exactly right! These little pills are improving my vision and thereby changing my life for the better. Don't hesitate to try these if you have macular degeneration. Even if you are not in a position to see an ophthalmologist regularly give your eyes this gift. They are worth every penny and more

It works

I went in for annual eye exam, was asked to look at a graph to check for macular degeneration. At the time, I had no idea purpose of the test. This year the lines were not straight, they were very crooked in one eye, mild in the other. I was told that I had macular degeneration. I am 61 yoa. About a year ago I started eating a lot of sugary food and poor diet in general. I believe this was the cause. I started taking these supplements in addition to my regular multivitamin. Started eating better, and started taking 1 tsp cod liver oil with my lunch. Two months later went to see retina specialist. Looked at the same graph. I still had some impairment but much much better than just 2 months before. These supplements work

This product was recommended for anyone who may have eye issues.

As one grows older many health-related issues seem to appear. For example, as we age our eyes often change and when my eye doctor examined me, one of the recommendations was to begin take a supplement specifically for they eye. This is why while browsing on Amazon I came across this product, (PreserVision. Areds, 2 eye vitamin and mineral supplement, contains Lutein, Vitamin C and other ingredients), and purchased it. As always, the delivery service was fast and efficient. I am pleased with my purchase. Easy to swallow

My ophthalmologist recommended an AREDS 2 formulation from another brand based on the clinical study and my medical history. Those gelcaps were big and hard to swallow, frequently choking me in the process. I decided to switch to PreserVision AREDS 2 Eye Vitamin & Mineral Supplement since the formula is an AREDS 2 and the gelcaps are smaller. What a difference! I don't even feel them going down. These gelcaps appear a bit oily in the bottle but that may be an additive to keep them from sticking together. It did not affect the quality of the product nor make it unpleasant. While it's too early to tell if this supplement will have a beneficial effect, I trust the science and time will tell..

For Glaucoma

I gave these to a person with glaucoma. She is 78 years old with no family around and scared of losing her sight. The first week she was with some much fear of taking these pills. After 2 weeks, she asked me to bring more next time I go to visit her. I already bought one more bottle to bring it with me next week. She can see a little better. We are waiting for a miracle. In the meantime, she is taking these excellent pills

They seem to work

The seems to work. My ophthalmologist said I have "Age-related macular degeneration" (I'm 74). Over the last 19 months that I have been taking AREDS2, my last check-up showed a slight improvement in the ARMD, rather than a continuation of ARMD. My doctor said he was pleased with the results. I take two per day as my doctor suggested. There is no "Flavor". I have no idea about the "Absorbency". They just seem to work

I see better with these

I was without these for about a month and I noticed a distinct difference in my eyesight. I would wake up with more gunk in my eyes and would have more tearing during the day. These make a definite difference for me. I recommended them to a friend who was having trouble driving at night and she has noticed improvement as well

Just what the Doctor ordered!

I have been taking these pills for Age-Related Macular Degeneration. My Doctor said it can't be cured, but this medication would slow the progress. Subsequent visits have confirmed practically no increase in Macular Degeneration. Woo Hoo

Could be a vision saver

I was diagnosed with macular degeneration in 2008 and immediately enrolled as a research subject in clinical trials of a revision of the Age Related Eye Disease treatment originally developed by Bausch and Lomb. I've been taking the supplement, 2 capsules a day, every day for the past 14 years. The macular degeneration has gotten slightly worse, but all indications are that the AREDS 2 vitamin supplement has retarded the advance of my eye condition. I regard it as a sight saver

Great product

I have been talking Areds2 for about 10 years and they have saved my eyesight. One by e it e B is gone because of MD. but the Bo it their eye is still fine. I take two capsules a day and I'm so thankful my doctor told me about these. I wouldn't skip a day or a capsule. They have been a real eye saver. If your doctor suggests taking them, run don't walk to the store to get them. I used to get them at Costco but since Covid I have been getting them from Amazon. Either place is great
