Read More...I've been taking Prilosec(Omeprazole) for years and it was a godsend. It utterly snuffed out my heartburn. But about a year ago it seemed to just stop working. My doctor recommended trying this to see if it would fit the bill, and it did. It sometimes isnt quite enough and at night I occasionally still need a tums but it works good 80% of the time and is comparable to generic prilosec in price so it works for me

Read More...I have been taking Nexium for almost 10 years. I have tried many different generic brands since it was released a few years ago, but this brand, by far was the most ineffective one I have ever tried. I generally go through 42 capsules in 21 days - I tried to up my dose on these to my previous Nexium dose of 40 mg x2 per day to try to combat the breakthrough acid reflux I was experiencing by day 3 of this brand. By the time I was out of the capsules at about 2 weeks, I was up for several hours a night with breakthrough burning so bad it was triggering an asthma attack. I started back on the CVS brand and after 24 hours I was back to my normal relief! I don't know who makes these ones but it was TERRIBLE
