Can't believe my eyes!

Holy spaceballs this stuff is absolutely amazing!!! My poor pittie has reccuring skin cancer on her belly and started getting this strange growth on her nose last year after she had her first operation. The vet never seemed concerned with it so I figured it was just a side effect of the cancer and didn't think there was anything that could be done about it. Boy, was I wrong! Thanks to one of those silly sponsored ads for "30 great Amazon products you never knew you needed" on a popular social media website, I found my way to a competing brand for this product. After comparing the options, I felt that The Blissful Dog nose butter was the best value. Added bonus that it comes in a tube, which makes for much easier application. My product arrived late Friday afternoon after riding around southern California's desert in the back of a UPS truck all day. It came in a cute little box with the company's logo printed on it. It was packaged very carefully inside of it's own small sealed baggie and wrapped in bubble wrap. It was sealed with a sticker saying something like "please put me in the fridge for 15 minutes before opening." I was hesitant to open it up when I saw that, especially because the tube felt quite warm to the touch and I didn't want a big melted mess on my hands before I even got to try the product out. I ignored the warning and opened it up right away lol but was pleasantly surprised to find the product perfectly fine. It was just the right temperature to apply directly to my dog without having to rub it on my palm first to get it to melt into her poor, hard, crusty nose. I applied it once Friday evening, and then twice on Saturday. My pittie was very patient and sat there while I rubbed it in to make sure it was evenly spread. She would give a quick lick when I finished, but the product is thick enough that it stayed in place. Went to apply a fourth treatment to her nose Sunday morning when I woke up, only to find her nose completely cleared up!!! I was so happy for her that I seriously wanted to cry. My pittie has been through so much this past year and a half, and it was killing me to see her nose in that condition every day and think there was nothing I could do about it. 3 simple applications and a mere 36 hours later and her nose is back to new again. Bottom line - this product absolutely does exactly what it says it will, and to me, it's worth it's weight in gold! Don't hesitate, buy it, your dogs are worth it

Greatest Thing Since Sliced Bread

I have tried numerous things to treat my pugs Collie Nose. Her poor little nose had a large hard crusty shelf like layer at the top of it and it looked so painful. Since I've tried everything under the sun I was extremely skeptical of ordering this product but literally after only ONE application I saw a huge difference and after the 3rd application I couldn't even tell that she ever had Collie Nose. My dog usually licks things off her nose right when I put them on but nope not this stuff because it's instantly absorbed. Easy Peasy!! I also think that it would work well on my dogs paws too when they get dry. This is a soft solid so you have to kind of press down through the semi hard top layer and scoop out a tiny bit. It's greasy but it's instantly absorbed so there's no mess, not even on your fingers. I can tell it could be a spill-able oily mess real quick so be sure to keep this in a cool place out of the direct sunlight because it will melt fast. If it does I'm sure that you can just pop it in the freezer for a bit. This comes in a small tin and I thought I'd be out in no time but it actually goes a long way and works so well that it'll last forever! This is an amazing product and I am so very thankful that my groomer recommended it! ***Ohhhh and I did notice when searching for this product that there are many different dog breeds pictures on the tins. Different breed pictures cost different prices. It's all the same folks so it you're not picky on whose pictures on your tin I'd go with the cheapest one as long as it's made by the same company and it's the same product

Miracle butter!

First let me say I am horrible with writing reviews which is wrong of me since I rely so heavily on them. I just had to write a review about how amazing this stuff is. I am so mad at myself for not taking before and after pictures. My dog has had this horrible nose that looks almost like the crystals you grow in a tank! Right before I started this cream the front part had this thick horrible piece that was llke a flap. He has seen 3 vets over the last 3 years and none of them had a diagnosis or suggestion of anything that worked (olive oil, coconut oil, fish oil). I am not sure if it was this but I found "hyperkeratosis" online and seen someone suggest this (even the pictures you see online of hyperkeratosis are literally not even half as bad as what my poor pups nose was). After only 3 days of applying it once a day my dog has a normal nose! I did apply generously and rubbed it in for a while, which he did not enjoy but with each application the pieces of his nose just came off one after the other (gross, I know). There was no pain, no redness, bleeding, or swelling, just a normal little doggie nose under all those layers. This is not a fake review (which I am skeptical about), and I am sorry I do not have before and after pictures, but give this a try and spread the word for all of those poor pups and pup owners that are grossed out by their dogs nose LOL

I feel I owe a debt of gratitude for this product

My MinPin/Chihuahua mix had a nose that looked like cauliflower. He already had a pretty dry nose that was a little cracked but once he had to go on a diarrhetic it caused him to be pretty dehydrated and his nose got to be so awful. I asked the vet what I could get for it and she said she didn't think there was anything I could do about it. His nose only kept getting worse and was REALLY bad for about a year. It was gross and probably very painful for him I am sure. By pure luck, I heard about this product and immediately ordered it through Amazon Prime without even bothering to read any reviews for it. I received it a couple days later. I put the Nose Butter on my dogs nose that evening and gave him a treat. After eating his treat he immediately went to town liking all the butter off his nose, even using his paw to rub it off and licking it off his paw. Even though he licked it all off, I noticed an IMMEDIATE improvement that evening and the next morning the size of his nose was way down and it looked a lot less like a broccoli floret. I applied the butter again, he started licking it off right away of course. But that evening when I got home, his nose looked even better. I applied it again that evening, and twice again the next day. After only 2 and a half days and 5 applications, his nose is almost completely back to normal. I would give this product 10 stars if I could. His nose healed so quickly that I actually cried. I almost NEVER leave feedback for products, but I have never been more thoroughly pleased with and grateful for something I have purchased. Thank you for making it The Blissful Dog

Go for unscented!!!!

Get unscented if you are going to get it, my dog hates the smell, dogs have 300 million olfactory receptors in their noses, compared to about six million in us. And the part of a dog's brain that is devoted to analyzing smells is about 40 times greater than ours. So the lemon scent is mild for me but for my dog it's like rubbing a lemon on her nose. I can get it on and it works good it makes the dogs nose look shiny soft and perfect but it doesn't last it goes away so the next day I added more and it seems if you keep a routine like everyday it makes the soft nose softer over time, but I'm not sure if you eventually stop if it will revert to how it was before so you would have to buy this forever. So yeah my dog hated it but it did work I would go with unscented but for some reason the unscented cost more probably because they know dogs can't handle the smell, like why would something cost more if it's the exact same thing except you are not using one of the ingredients, that should make it cheaper.. no? and I put a pic of the smallest size you can get it's a TINY container for the price, you get 1 oz, but it does last, if you do it everyday maybe 2 months maybe longer depending on how much you use

I was fairly skeptical as my 7 year old Boxer has had a very dry and crusty nose for years, once in awhile to the point of slight bleeding. Our vet has always recommended random moisturizers to try and solve the issue but nothing has really worked. I saw Nose Butter with good reviews and figured why not? I started to put it on my boxers nose 2-3 times daily and after a few days of this his nose looks incredible! The big crusty growths are all but gone and he looks so much better. He has to feel much better as well. I do have to give him a small rawhide or a treat to distract him for a while right after the application so he doesn't lick it all off, and he does not enjoy getting this put on at all but once he figured out treats were involved it didn't take him long to start looking forward to the new routine. My only advice would be to buy the tin instead of the application stick. At least in my case my dog seems much more comfortable with me applying by finger rather than the stick itself. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with a dry dog nose problem

Amazing product, wish I bought is sooner!

Wow! This stuff is amazing. Our 13 year old boxer has had a dry cracked nose for a while now. We thought it was just because of old age. I did some research and found this product. We started using it 3 days ago and his nose is 99% healed. We cleaned his nose off with a damp rag and then applied the butter 3 times a day for 3 days and this morning when we woke up we saw a cute little healthy looking nose! And found the pieces of dried skin or whatever in my dogs dog bed, I'm guessing it came off in his sleep or he was rubbing at it. My husband and I are AMAZED ðŸ' I wish I would have known about this sooner and realized there was something we could do about it sooner because it has made such a huge difference in a very short amount of time

We are happy with this product and our dog is too…

Our crazy cattle dog mix Bobby had a nose that was dry and scaly and very ugly. It looked like one side was about to turn completely to scale and fall off and I had visions of huge vet bills, surgeries, medications and a very unhappy dog. So, instead of a trip to the vet, I Googled "scaly dog nose" and found a plethora of pictures of dog noses that looked just like his and WAY worse. (There were even pictures of scaly people noses.) And that is how I found out about "Nose Butter". I went straight to Amazon. I thought $18 was a lot of money for 4 ounces -- but it wasn't. It has been worth every penny. His nose began to look better right away. The treat before and after (as suggested) worked quite well and he only resisted a little. Now all we have to say is "time to get your nose buttered" and he is right there. He gets a little treat after. Our other dog doesn't need nose butter. We give her a treat the same time he gets his, but she is still jealous anyway and has to get a little pretend nose butter too. His nose began to look better right away. We live in Arizona where the "dry heat" can easily roast just about anything, including noses, so I think Bobby will need a little bit of nose butter every day, at least throughout this never-ending summer. And 4 ounces will last a long time because a little bit goes a long way. We are happy with this product and Bobby is happy too

Freakin miracle!

I have a white boxer and his nose got worse than any picture on the internet I could find. I literally started to think he was growing a fungus on his nose. It never bled or seemed to crack very deep but when I looked up cracked dogs noses the pictures were never quite like his. It never obviously bothered him from what I could tell, but it bothered me just looking at it. His once moist puppy nose literally looked like it was growing course hairs all over it. His entire nose was course strands sticking out. My friends started calling him barnacle boy because of the trippy growth on his nose. My husband is pretty convinced I can cure everything naturally without a vet trip. Coconut oil was the best natural cure I could find. I applied it regularly and it did nothing. He licked it like crazy and might have given himself a dryer, more irritated nose in the end. I'm no vet and was ready to tell my husband we have to shell out a bill to get our baby's nose looked at when I found this. I know my boxer licks the crap out of his nose when I put something on it, so I literally cake his nose with it. In two weeks, sometimes putting it on once or twice a day, sometimes being a crappy mom and skipping a day, and he's no longer barnacle boy. My biggest regret is not taking a before picture. If you are reading these reviews, please start off with a before picture! This stuff is a miracle! This stuff is incredible. The creators of this product definitely had to put in the efforts to find a natural product that really works

This Stuff Works!

I write truthful reviews and won't ever accept $ to post phony ones... We have a Boxer (Izzie) with a rough nose. A neighbor walking by with her Boxer noticed it and recommended Blissful Dog Balm. Her pup had the same issue. Just like me, she had tried other products to no avail. Along came Blissful Dog Balm. It really does work! Izzie doesn't mind its pleasant light aroma at all. We are using it at night on her feet as they are super rough. We'll see how that goes. Buy this. You won't be disappointed. Honest
