Citrucel works extremely well. The proctologist that recommended it said use this specifically not the other products on the market. I don't remember why but he was right on the money. A friend of mine since kindergarten who I turned onto Citrucel refers to it as "the boys in the packaging department." Your bowel movements will not only make you smile they will provide photo opportunities and make you stand up and cheer. And yes, most of the time you can stand up and cheer because you may not even require toilet paper

Citrucel Taste Changed

This product has worked well for me to control IBS symptoms for several years. While the taste has changed from time to time, the most recent taste change (about 8 or 9 months ago) is very disturbing - to me it tastes like plastic! If this change in taste is not remedied, I will no longer be able to use the product. I plan to complain to the company (1-800-897-6081)

Finally found it.

I like the fact that I finally found citrucel and could buy it. I really wanted sugar free but could not find it. There must be a shortage because I looked everywhere to find some

Wish it was not orange flavored.

Ideopathic chronic constipation.Recommended by GI doctor. Orange flavoring gives me G I reflux. I wish it was unflavored. It's relatively expensive compared to other forms of fiber. I have to use it at least three times a day with meals and Linzess once a day. Sometimes is not effective

When I was first told about the product, the gastroenterologist said it gives you less gas than other similar products. It also tastes good

This is delicious and a little treat despite its medicinal properties. Please note that I found out through unfortunate experience that the Citrucel pills, which were all I could get in my pharmacy, were not an exact equivalent and proved irritating to my system, presumably because of one of the supposedly inert ingredients. (I had also previously found the sugar free drink irritating.) Returning to the admittedly sugary powder reversed the problem entirely and returned me to my pleasant ritual of a tasty drink to use to take my morning vitamins and medicine. A good choice especially for people who have gluten sensitivity or an allergy to wheat but desire a fiber supplement
