Read More...I found out about this from a co-worker who used to get several UTIs a yr, & she told me about it when I told her I'd had the same problem. She said she'd not had 1 in 5yrs since taking this. I bought it, & I can tell you- it's $6 cheaper here than in drugstores, & wish I'd known that 8yrs ago- when I started it. In 8yrs, if I started it 4Ã-/day, on the 1st 1-2 days of symptoms, & continued it 4 days, symptoms went away on day 2, and I took it 2 more days to be sure. The 1Ã- I didn't take it on the 1st 2 days -bc I didn't have it, was sick at home) it was too late. That was April '19, & I STILL have a chronic embedded biofilm UTI that's EXTREMELY COSTLY- so I recommend that you keep a bottle on hand, (or 2, in case of an emergency), bc this has saved me for 8yrs

Of straight cranberry juice, taking multivitamins and AZO (anything to avoid going to quick care as I dont have health insurance). I finally broke down and bought this and within 3 days my infection was gone. I still take it, if I'm feeling off. It also helps me with yeast control and/or ph imbalances
Read More...I'm SO glad I found this. I was taking D-Magg pills up until finding this. Which were definitely helping...I was having less UTI's but I was still getting them once every other month. This stuff has been a godsend. I have a spinal cord injury and because I sometimes have to cathatorize to fully empty my bladder, that puts me at high risk of developing UTI'S. I have not had a single one since starting this! I keep it in my fridge, take a shot in the morning and go about my day. Best part is the taste. It actually tastes good. Like cranberry juice. I've put in in my smoothies before and it made them taste even better. I wish the bottle were bigger but I can't really complain...as it lasted me a month. This is the first and only item from Amazon I subscribe to. If you have problems with UTI's...hit that button. If it works for me, im pretty damn sure it will work for you. (Or at least help!
Read More...Because of other health issues, I am extremely prone to UTIs. That's why I added Cystex liquid to my daily regimen, along with additional d-mannose capsules and a few other things. I believe that the ingredients in Cystex have contributed to my success in keeping UTIs at bay. =>Calcium oxalates I am not giving medical advice, only the personal experiential suggestion to read about calcium oxalates and foods that are high in oxalates and how they can impact your urine, bladder, and kidneys. As a person who consumed raw spinach and other foods and supplements high in oxalates in her diet daily, it was an eye-opener. When I began to watch out for foods that were high in calcium oxalates, it helped my bladder. Again, not medical advice, I just wanted to mention it in case it might benefit even just one person. Read More...I have never gotten a full blown UTI until I moved and didn't have insurance. I did the goodrx thing and got an appointment virtually and they prescribed me medication for 5 days. On this medication I couldn't have caffeine, sugar, salt, legitimately anything. I'm addicted to coffee. Like que the caffeine withdrawal migraine. It seemed to go away then like clockwork, it came back! What the heck? After never having one, I got two within 3 weeks. I was desperate. There was no way I'd get medicine again right after. They would make me come in, I'm sure. I found this just researching on Amazon and I tried it. Literally within 3 days of two doses of this everyday, drinking A LOT of water, and taking the AZO brand antibacterial medicine, it was finally gone. Since then I have subscribed to it because I never want to go through that again. I think from now on I will always take this daily. Honestly, this was my last resort and it worked
Read More...Growing up I suffered from a lot of UTIs and other female issues. I first discovered Cystex and fell in love with it immediately. I love this stuff. I used to buy it a couple years ago from Walmart, now I can barely find it in any store anymore. Luck would have it that I was able to find it on Amazon. Cystex does exactly what it's supposed to do, I have no complaints at all. Cystex has antioxidants, antalkaline, anti-adherent and a prebiotic to help promote healthy bacteria in the bladder. The product arrived on on time, with safety seal completely attached. I will definitely by again in the future
Read More...I can't say enough about Cystex products! I started taking Cystex liquid (one cap a day or two if I was having symptoms, like the instructions said) in July 2019. I remember exactly when because it gave me my life back! For 3 years, I had bladder infections not just chronically, but constantly. A week or two after antibiotics, the infection would come back, if they even went away at all! I was put on daily antibiotics. Once I started taking this EVERY day, I only got UTIs every 2-5 months. When I use the antibacterial pills too, I don't get UTIs at all. The liquid seems to be absolutely necessary, when I can't afford both, but I had one recurrence when I did the liquid-only again, for a while. I personally prefer the combination, to be safe. Before I used Cystex, I couldn't work. I had to leave two jobs because I was missing too many days and it was too painful to work. I even got 3 kidney infections, which is serious. I was worried about my health! Now, I can be active, go to school, and work! When I started using the liquid, I had an infection and took antibiotics at the same time. When I got occasional infections after starting, if I increased the dose at the first sign of symptoms, two went away without going to the doctor. I do NOT recommend exceeding the recommended dose, even if having symptoms. I did that once to try to make sure I was healthy on vacation, and I spent a lot of time running to the bathroom. It made me go a lot! It doesn't do that at all if I just take it how it says. It works, so no need to overdo it! When I started my new job, I forgot and took extra again…same results! Won't make that mistake again! Otherwise, no side effects at all from Cystex products, and I love the taste. It's refreshing, not too sweet or sour, and no funny texture. That's part of why I wanted to take extra, but now it's just a little treat. I do have one complaint, which is that they changed their packaging a while back. I can't get the cap to seal after opening, so it has to be stored where it won't tip over. When I travel, I have to put it in a different bottle and bring the dosing cup separately. A small medicine bottle works well. It seems minor, but it's a bit of a hassle. I like that it has prebiotics, so I take it with a probiotic…works great if I'm having tummy trouble or have to take antibiotics for a sinus infection or something, because I am good now! No UTIs in many months! I was amazed because the company doesn't even make all these claims, because it's a supplement. It is not cheap, but now I can work so it's worth it. The freedom from pain and daily antibiotics is priceless. I appreciate the prebiotics because it's helping me repair GI damage from years of antibiotics, too. If they don't change their formula, I will always use this daily
Read More...Chronic kidney/autoimmune issues. This stuff is hard to find at the stores near me, being able to find it here has definitely made my life easier. Taken daily, I have less symptoms from kidney stones and notice an overall better feeling with my issues. Will continue to buy
Read More...I have been taking this liquid daily for almost a year, and have had many fewer UTI's this year. I don't find it to help pain of an active infection as some do. Rather it's for building urinary tract health to help prevent infections. The tablets do help with the pain and they have some kind of antimicrobial supplement. It won't knock out an active infection, but will keep it tamed down until you can get an antibiotic started. And it doesn't turn the urine orangish red. As for taste, not my favorite taste, but nothing horrible. However, I do find the taste a little different from bottle to bottle. Not sure why that is. My only complaint is that the only place I can buy it locally is CVS and it's around $14 a bottle. I thought it would be great to order it and save money. But I've found that the bottles leak. I'm not sure why. They come wrapped in tight plastic and there's one of those little seals on the bottle when you open it. These will both be intact, and yet there will be liquid leaked inside the plastic on about a third of the bottles. I assumed the first time that the bottle wasn't sealed properly and threw it out. This has happened every time though on at least one shipment. This is NOT the seller's fault. Their packaging is fine, but rather the company's packaging. I had a new bottle I packed in my vanity case for a trip. In moving the case around sometimes the UNOPENED bottle would have been on its side. It leaked all in my case. I make sure now when I'm traveling that I keep it some way that it will remain upright. But I'm afraid to order them online. Even though I think it's a packaging defect of some sort, I can't use a medicine from a leaking bottle
