I've been buying already made elderberry syrup, but that sure can add up. I have researched different recipes for this syrup, but I have found that this kit saves me money and time as it already has all the ingredients. Super easy to make, and delicious, and most important it's all organic. My whole family takes it, and it also helps my 3 year old with constipation. Your body is amazing at fighting viruses and bacteria, if you give it the tools it needs. =

Great great product!

I had previously bought syrup that was already made from another specialty retailer for over double the price. Came across this product and was incredible happy with the ease of this process! I did separate the berries and soak them until they became soft like I've read elsewhere before cooking but followed directions exactly and squeezed the life out of everything and adding the honey it came out to exactly 32oz! Very pleased! Tastes exactly like the specialty retailer! Thanks so much!

Delicious!

I was paying a local edlerberry seller $30 for a 16oz bottle! This kist is just as tasty. Family is on preventative dosage...all healthy. I used 3/4 cup of honey instead of 1 cup...plenty sweet

Has this changed??

Has the product changed? I've purchased this numerous times; this is the first time it came without cinnamon sticks. I threw in a couple of my own cinnamon sticks and made it as usual and this time the consistency is different........ has the product changed

Not what it's cracked up to be

I have been making elderberry for years. Over the weekend my son became sick, and I was running low. My normal provider couldn't ship until a week out, so Amazon to the rescue. Pros: the tea bag! It made things so much easier. Cons: It doesn't make more than 20oz. I was really disappointed in this, also the is very weak. In elderberry you want a rich strong syrup. If I hadn't already made the syrup I'd definitely return it.

Yes, BUT – you should modify the directions

I followed the directions exactly and ended up with 2 cups of liquid. I poured this off into a large pyrex measuring cup. Instead of monkeying around with trying to squeeze a hot nylon bad, I added 2.5 cups more of water to the pot, brewed for another 30 minutes and viola, another nearly 2 cups of liquid about as thick as the first batch. So then again I added 1.5 cups of water after pouring off the 2nd batch and, low and behold another cup of material from the 3rd batch. I could do this a few more times, but now it's becoming like tea which is fine, I'm keeping the last bits separate. They give you so much organic/plant content here that the directions would have you wasting at least half of what you could make. Keep brewing it and you get more

My batch wasn't the best.

I followed the directions perfectly and have made these in the past. This batch only made a portion of the promised amount and that was with the added honey. My Kids HATE the taste but my husband doesn't mind it. Definitely had to buy a replacement. After several contacts the seller finally helped but it wasn't an easy task

Amazing taste!

I use Elderberry for an immunity builder. This package was amazing. I was even able to make a 2nd batch because it has such strong properties. So I actually got double the amount!! The flavor after making this was so good, I added a bit of honey while it was still warm. I take about 1-2 Tbsp's each morning! I keep it in the fridge. I will definitely order from this vendor again
