We explored the effects of Bifidobacterium lactis HN019 on gut transit time and gastrointestinal symptoms among 100 adults with functional GI issues. Participants took either a high dose, a low dose, or a placebo over 14 days.
Our findings revealed significant improvements in gut transit time and a reduction in GI symptoms for those taking B. lactis compared to the placebo group. Interestingly, the high dose showed more pronounced benefits, leading to fewer symptoms and quicker gut transit.
Overall, we found that this probiotic strain is a safe option that may help alleviate digestive discomfort.

We conducted a study to see if a fermented dairy product with Bifidobacterium lactis DN-173 010 could help reduce bloating in patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and constipation. In a controlled trial with 34 participants over four weeks, we found that this probiotic significantly decreased abdominal girth and improved gastrointestinal transit times.
Patients reported feeling less bloated, and symptom severity also decreased. These findings suggest that fostering faster transit times may be an effective method to combat abdominal distension.

Better than anything I've ever taken for my stomach troubles. I purchased a pack of 30 recently, as I've had IBS and diverticulitis for most of my life. After chemotherapy, my stomach issues worsened with bloating, gas, and constant pain. Thankfully, this product has helped my stomach settle down, and I'm now able to eat normally without discomfort. I highly recommend the Enzymatic Pearls Elite.

Better than anything I’ve ever taken for my stomach troubles. I bought a pack of 30 from Walmart. I’ve struggled with IBS and diverticulitis my whole life. After 7 weeks of Methotrexate chemotherapy for rheumatoid arthritis, my stomach flared up, causing bloating, gas, acid reflux, diarrhoea, and constant pain. I tried low-fibre diets and various remedies. Finally, my stomach is settling down, and the pain has subsided. I highly recommend this product, the Enzymatic Pearls Elite.

Our findings showed that the probiotic group experienced quicker symptom relief and a longer time before symptoms returned, compared to the placebo. We also noted improvements in gut microbiota diversity following the treatment. Thus, Bifidobacterium lactis appears to provide significant benefits as an adjunct therapy for managing reflux symptoms.

The Enzymatic Pearls Elite have been incredible for my stomach troubles. After undergoing chemotherapy, I dealt with IBS, bloating, gas, and acid reflux. I tried various remedies, but this product finally helped settle my stomach and relieve the pain. I highly recommend it, but note that not all their probiotics have the same formula. For over five years, I suffered from chronic loose bowels and diarrhoea. My GI doctor recommended Align and Metamucil but they didn’t work. Two days on Pearls Elite, and I can’t believe how well my body is functioning! I've been taking them for about four months, and while I stopped for a week, the diarrhoea returned.
