Better Than Anything I've ever taken for my Stomach Troubles

I bought a pack of 30 from Walmart a few days ago. I've had problems with IBS for most of my life and diverticulitis. I've had Methotrexate chemotherapy shots recently for 7 weeks in a row (for rheumatoid arthritis) and it really flared up my stomach - with bloating, gas, acid reflux, diarreah, and constant pain and swelling on the right side (yeah, I've been having a great time of it!!!! LOL). I've tried eating low-fiber, low residue foods, DanActive yogurt drinks, Aloe juice, Zantac 150, etc etc. Finally, my stomach is settling down and the pain has subsided. I am eating more normally now without suffering. I highly recommend this particular product - The Enzymatic Pearls Elite. NOTE: All their probiotics are not the same formula. RELIEF – finally!!

I have had stomach/digestive problems for years. I have had my gall bladder removed. I have had a Nissen Fundoplication (surgery to repair a hiatal hernia). Over the past 8 years (about 15 years since my surgery), I have had continual problems with my digestive tract. I had a colonoscopy a couple of years ago; nothing found. I have been on motility medication. I have gone through MANY A BOTTLES of Mylanta or the equivalent; that offered temporary relief, but I had to keep a bottle with me at all times. I started taking Pearls (original) several months ago and felt slightly better, but not enough to say I felt good. I ran out of the Pearls (original) in June, but had not replenished them. So, I went without for a couple of months. That was one of the worstvcouple of months!!! Anyway, I decided to try the Pearls Elite. I felt so much better. My system is moving on its own. I - for the most part - am able to sleep at night again. Exception: I sometimes eat foods (i.e. processed foods, anything already cooked and packaged, and birthday cake icing - that trigger the familiar digestive discomfort (possibly due to gluten intolerance), I occasionally have need of a bottle of a Mylanta equivalent. Overall, however, I feel so much better. I like the fact that these pills are small, tasteless, and don't require refrigeration. I am about to order more now. I HIGHLY recommend Pearls Elite. UPDATE 5/5/12: Since my original post, I have confirmed that the underlying issues to my digestive tract issues was GLUTEN INTOLERANCE and INSUFFICIENT DIGESTIVE ENZYMES - and LACTOSE INTOLERANCE (which I already knew about). I have experienced crazy constipation for many years. It just seems that my digestive tract was paralyzed. Consequently, I was miserable. I didn't feel well; I had no energy; I couldn't think clearly enough to accomplish much of anything. Now that I have eliminated gluten, continue with the Pearls Elite, and take digestive enzymes with every meal, I feel a major difference. I really mean that. Now, if I slip on any of these things, I suffer. It seems that I need all of them. (Even though I take digestive enzymes and probiotics, I still use Lactaid whenever I am going to ingest a dairy product.) UPDATE 02/12/14: Had to change to a refrigerated probiotic.No longer felt the relief from the Pearls. It could be that I am no longer able to get the Pearl's Elite, so I had to go to the original

These Work!

I didn't know much about probiotics until my doctor suggested that I take these along with a prescription antibiotic to lessen stomach upset. Not only did my stomach survive the course of medication without a hitch, but my occasional bouts of IBS have come to a screeching halt. I take one every other day to prevent constipation. I also feel they are strengthening my immune system. Everyone I've recommended these to is very happy with the results

No More Hot Flashes, No More Diarrhea

For over five years I had chronic loose bowels and diarrhea. Colonoscopy said all was fine. GI doc recommended Align and Metamucil which were no help. Two days on Pearls Elite and my body is working fine; I can't believe it! I've been taking these for about four months now. I went off two different times for a week and diarrhea returned. I'm sticking with the Pearls. And what totally shocked me was that my menopausal hot flashes which were happening numerous times per day are mostly gone when I take Pearls. Don't know why these get rid of hot flashes but I'm a happy camper

The Best

I am so glad that Amazon introduced me to Elite Pearls by Enzamatic Therapy. I had tried their other probiotics but they did not compare to Elite Pearls. All systems worked well and I felt great. I have also tried probiotics by other companies but none compare to Elite Pearls, at least for me

Health Attempts of a Junk. Food Addict

Let me say first, that I am NOT a health nut. I am what my doctor would consider obese with less than stellar eating habits. Given the previous, I decided to try to improve my health habits by adding a few supplements. I am in my late 20s, and have no digestive conditions. However, in the last year or so I have had significant discomfort from gas, constipation, and loose stools. Including rather severe reactions to eating vegetables. After taking these with a prebiotic fiber supplement, I feel SO much better. I will say to keep taking them for at least a week. I did not start to notice a difference until about the 5th day, but all of my complaints have all but vanished. Would really recommend to people who normally don't "do" supplements

Best product I've ever found due to Amazon reviews

Antibiotics can mess up your gut flora for up to a year after taking them. A year. Because they don't discriminate between bad bacteria and helpful bacteria. Probiotics help restore the balance and replenish good bacteria. But they usually take forever because there's this process in the stomach that kills most of them off. Which usually means one week of antibiotics equals many weeks of oral probiotics to try and get back together. Only there's these Pearls. OMG thank you!!! I read the reviews on Amazon before buying, did a bunch of research and settled on these. Figured it wouldn't hurt to give them a go. To say that they worked better than any other delivery system or brand of probiotics I've ever tried would be an understatement. They not only work better, there's no horrible flavor, weird texture, strange aftertaste or digestive upset. The speed is SO much faster than others as well. I had another recent round of IV antibiotics due to a surgical procedure and kept my once a day Pearl routine with the advice of my docs. The usual "girl trouble" with candida didn't happen at *all* and my digestive tract has been happy. My family now also uses them with similar results. So glad I found these!

Not Nexium–Pearls Elite

I had suffered from gastritis (basically a stomachache) and my family doctor kept prescribing Zantac and Nexium...for a year and a half. I'd been to a GI Dr. and had an endoscopy and ruled out GERD, stomach cancer, and ulcer. Still...every morning I woke up with a stomachache, and dutifully took the prescriptions, which did not help the problem. This continued for a year and a half. I read the side effects for Nexium and they said nausea and headache. So I discontinued the Nexium...still the stomachache persisted. It was inhibiting my quality of life. I am an active 59 year old female. A friend recommended Pearls Elite, made by Enzymatic Therapy, from her and her sister's personal experiences, so I decided to try it. I had tried Align and Nutraceutical Sciences Institute Probiotic 15-35 (both probiotics) with no success. My friend said she took 4 per day, though Pearls Elite recommended one a day. I took my first Pearl Elite on a Friday night in September 2011. Saturday morning I woke up feeling fine, and took my first pearl of the day. I felt fine all day and spaced out my 4 doses of Pearls Elite. My stomach has been perfect ever since. After suffering for a year and a half with prescriptions, I've been well for over a month. I still take 300 mg Zantac, split into four doses per day. I shall try to come off that, too. I'll also try to reduce the number of pearls per day, because 4 a day is expensive. But it is worth it. What a miracle

Best probiotics out there!

I'm weird. I actually don't have digestive issues. Then again, I try to eat clean and healthy. I just want everything to digest fast and super well. I've tried many different probiotics from yogurts to pills with the hundred billions, perhaps even trillions. But when it comes down to it, its not really the quantity that matters, its the quality. And Pearls is all about quality. Now Pearls Elite has 5 billion top-notch little critters in it, which is probably not necessary for most. However, in the rare event I decide to destroy my insides at the local Chipotle, these guys come in handy. Sometimes I feel like I can feel the little guys feasting away just to make me feel like a million bucks

Really does help

This review will probably have a little TMI but what do expect from a review of probiotics? I've had digestive issues for about 15 years (lactose intolerance, IBS, etc) but since having my gallbladder removed last summer things have become much worse. At first I had the problem of "going" all the time and this continued for a few months. I knew it'd happened but of course it was annoying. But then my problem became the exact opposite. I stopped going. I was always constipated. I was so full of gas and when I tried to go I'd get very little relief. I was using gas-x and laxatives on a fairly regular basis. Every day was miserable. I tried changing my diet, but it didn't seem to matter. So out of desperation I thought I'd give probiotics a try. I read lots of reviews and I thought these would be the best for my problems. Pretty much immediately I saw improvement. I started going on a regular basis! Even the bloatedness and gas has gone down. Now I wouldn't say it's a perfect solution as I still do have some gas and there is a day every now and then where I don't go. Of course that could just be my body. In general I'm pleased with it. I've used it for a month and I plan to continue using it every day
