My wife and I are both health conscious and we discipline ourselves to eat as much organic food we can get, both vegetable and protein as well as supplement (vitamins, etc). We've been using this product for about 2 years now and I've been purchasing this in local store, before finding this in Amazon at a cheaper price. I second all the positive reviews for this product. Here is the benefit I received from the Garden of Life Perfect Food Super Green Formula: 1. More energy throughout the day Before taking this, I used to take organic vitamins. If I didn't take my vitamins, I can feel the difference in energy level. After taking this (2 caplets before breakfast, 1 before lunch, 2 before dinner) I no longer feel any difference whether I'm taking vitamins or not. My energy level is maintained during the day and at 2pm, I have not felt sleepy ever since. As a matter of fact, I don't remember the last time I felt sleepy in the afternoon after taking this. 2. I eat less This caplet can be taken with or without food, so I take it 15-20 minutes with a glass of water before my meal so I don't feel as hungry so I eat less. It also helps me to maintain my normal weight. 3. Good for detox Just came for detox seminar and raw, organic food (like this) is essential for our health, specially since we don't eat enough vegetables. This will help your body remove the toxin naturally, making your body happier and therefore, function better and healthier, specially if you put a little or more exercise into your routine. 4. No indigestion problem I mean ... no problem whatsoever. I believe this is the first thing I felt after taking this. The effect is almost immediate and within a few hours. This product is so good that I feel I can live with it and water for days without anything else. If you want to lose weight, I believe this will help you just simply because it gives you the nutrients you don't usually get with regular diet that you don't feel the need to eat more. For me, this has already been my regular diet in all my meals. Note: the caplet is rather big, almost twice the size of regular capsule. I used to get the powder form, but I opt for the caplet form instead for convenience

These huge horse pills work!

LOL, did you like my title, cause I'm not joking. Horse pills, ever hear that saying? That's what these are...I'm all about popping pills, if they're vitamins or good for me, I'll take them. I've learned that with these horse pills (or any other really dense vitamins), it's probably a good idea to eat a lil something, then take them, then eat some more. Otherwise your tummy might be ready to have them come back up. Now because these are "easily absorbed" into your system, that means they will basically start melting in your mouth, like an m&m...so have your water (chaser) ready. You'll probably want something more then just water, because you'll sort of feel a little of that *yummy* (can you guys hear my sarcasm in this? I hope so, lol) vegetable vitamin flavor sitting in the back of your throat for a while if you just take it with water. Now, I know, you're probably thinking "why did she give this a 5 star if she's making it sound awful?". The pill itself, & the benefits, is worth learning how to get used to taking these pills. It's a great product, you'll want to start out slow. I started with 1 pill with breakfast, 1 with lunch for about 3 days. Then I moved up to 2 pills for breakfast & lunch. And then a few days later 3 with breakfast & lunch. I'm still at 3, I'm not even entirely sure I need to move up anymore. After about 1 week, I could tell that my clarity was improved. For me, that is priceless. I could focus better, & remain a bit more "calm, cool, & collected". I'm not sure I could put a price on those benefits, but I know that this product is fabulous. I'm not a huge fan of eating lots of fruits & veggies, yet I know I need to...you see my dilemma? Basically I'm lazy, ahhh, but you see, these pills make me feel so good, that I'm not too embarrassed to admit that. I live alone, I don't really cook for just me, you know, so these pills are now necessity. Realistically everyone should take them, & have a great diet, & live in a fairy tale, but in the real world that stuff doesn't happen. For me, these are going to be something I'll take everyday forever. I'm very happy I found them, thanks to the inventor, & thanks anyone who reads this - try it, I promise, you'll love them. Incredible product

I have extremely health problems with constipation and digestion and these have helped me sooo much. I could not recommend this enough. If you are having any sort of stomach problem, try this out please

Good food for you!

Love this stuff. I don't eat as many fruits or veggies as I'd like to...because of my job, so this helps take care of my "perfect food" intake. Good for those who don't like veggies, like my wife. Also the tablet form is a must...the powder will knock you on your butt...taste like the bottom of a lawn mower. No taste invovled with the tablets, unless you like to suck on them...wouldn't do it!!

I literally survive on chicken nuggets

I'm 27 and gag at the literal smell of a steamed green vegetable. Judge if you want, but I've tried them more than once and they all taste like absolute hot garbage. Now that I'm an adult, I literally eat more like a toddler than I did when just actually was one. Over the past 2 weeks, over 50% of my meals have been chicken nuggets or ramen. My anxiety is directly impacted by my diet and I have been on edge for days because of the aforementioned dietary choices. I say all this to say that these supplements are so wholesome that my body loves it every time I remember to take five in between gummy candies/bottles of champagne. Pill sizes and tastes don't bother me, but these are kind of big. I take them with a vegan protein shake (they're frequently on sale) that also includes a flax/chia seed packet, some manuka honey, and collagen peptides all in unsweetened almond milk. This gives me great energy, keeps the shakes away, and keeps my blood sugar regulated (not diabetic). I just notice such a difference when I regularly take these. My IBS isn't as bad and I don't get that shaky, hypoglycemia feeling. Like, I think these may be helping to keep me alive because I LITERALLY never even walk in the produce section where fresh vegetables are. Disgusting. Too bad Doritos are delicious and cost less, because I could be one healthy chick if I tried

Great product with multiple benefits

My mother stroked on her 62nd birthday, my father stroked at 58 and died at 62, I went to the doctor for a full work up and at the age of 37 and I was diagnosed with vascular disease with factors of genetics and lifestyle. After 6 months of failed attempts to change diet I was placed on cholesterol and high blood pressure medicine, I could not find enough â€˜greens' to consume nor the time to consume them. A friend told me about this product. After 6 months of taking 3 pills a day I am off blood pressure medicine. If I forget to take the pills for a couple of days my blood pressure begins to go up and I quickly restart the regimen. And since I started taking them I've notice I feel better, more full. I find my.food cravings have deminished. So I'll be buying this product again. I've also put my elderly mom on them

Good greens

I am convinced that the more greens you eat, the better, and Perfect Food is an easy way to get good quality greens. I take 3-5 tablets almost every day, along with eating a pretty healthful diet in general, and I really think it's made a difference. I rarely have the reflux symptoms that I used to have daily, no longer take medication for that (other than an occasional Rolaids when I make really bad food choices!), which I attribute to the enzymes and numerous micronutrients that are inherent in quality greens. I no longer take vitamin supplements per se because I don't trust vitamins that have been isolated from their sources--it just makes sense that natural is better. Garden of Life stuff is not cheap for sure, but I do think they are top quality natural supplements and worth the money. At age 51, I know that I have to take care of this body, no one else is going to do it for me--so bring on the Perfect Food

Great product (but) the dosage recommended needs to be modified for my body

I have been taking these food-based supplements for several years now and really like them. I am a vegetarian and am very conscientious about making sure I stay healthy as best I can. I also work an average of 65-70 hours a week and the food available to me is not healthy or good quality. I rely heavily on these supplements to balance out the bad with their top notch ingredients. I take them several times a day. The reason I'm giving 4 stars vs. 5 is when I take them as directed on the label, I get terrible gas. I have learned to avoid this by taking only 2 at a time and taking them at least 3 times a day. I take 2 first thing in the morning before my coffee, and 2 right before bedtime so as my body is repairing itself during the night it has these vital nutrients available to assist it, and depending on how long my work day is, 2 more mid day and sometimes 2 in the last afternoon. Perhaps others do not have this experience, but I like to share mine accurately This routine insures my body is never lacking the vitamins & nutrients it needs to stay in great health

Amazing!

Five per day seems like a lot but man is it worth it! My hair started growing like crazy after only two weeks and I no longer felt tired around 3pm. My digestion, skin, and overall energy levels improved. I also added collagen into my diet at the same time so I can't say this is 100% the reason but I know for sure it's a huge contributing factor!
