Only iron supplement that works for me
I have been taking this iron supplement for over two years as recommended by my physician after gastric bypass surgery. If your doctor gives you a prescription for this, insurance will not pay as it is considered a "Supplement". We found this out the hard way. Then, I looked on Amazon, and it was much cheaper. So pleased that Amazon carries this product. Now about the product: It does the job well, if you take one pill a day (with a little something to eat if it bothers your stomach). However, not to be graphic, like all iron supplements, it can be a bit constipating. Some prune juice should help. That being said, it is the best product I have discovered for blood loss from any medical condition

Finally found the answer for me
Struggled with anemia for years to the point of having to have infusions. I tried all kinds of things OTC, black strap molasses, etc but still was not absorbing the iron. Integra and Integra Plus has been the answer for me

Excellent product.
It Works!
Doctor recommended switching to Integra after nasty bout of constipation on another Iron supplement. Had a scary low hemoglobin that landed me in hospital. With this product, and time, I am getting back to normal labs. Still taking one Colace to keep things running smoothly (another medication I'm on also causes problems, sigh) but overall would recommend Integra for anyone with Iron issues. It's hard to find locally. Pharmacy had to order. Price better here as well

It's Iron–Go Figure
It's iron. It does what Iron does. I recommend taking a fiber supplement along with this. I was surprised when I handed my Iron Prescription to the rep at CVS. While Integra isn't a prescription, it's also not on the shelves so the pharmacy has to order it for you. As I picked my jaw up after hearing CVS's price, I hopped on Amazon. My order was placed before I left the store
