> DOES THE JOB
> The tub dispenses 1 sheet at-a-time, from a "spring-open" lid. > The tub comes filled with sheets, and refills are available at a reasonable price. > The tub I received was not white (as in the photo) but rather is light blue with a faint snake-skin design. > The sheets are rather heavy duty---you can do some scrubbing with them, but (mostly because they are moist) they remain fairly gentle. > Cottonelle wipes are most useful when you are having "problems", such as inflamed hemorrhoids, or your private area is sore or splashy because of diarrhea, or if you have an open sore in the area. The extra cleansing will minimize the possibility of infection---but I also apply antibacterial gel at the same time. > IRRITATION: Apparently some folks develop irritation after a month or so of daily use. Solution: don't use them for every bowel movement, use them only when you need them. > FLUSHABILITY: A few sheets per month or even per week probably aren't going to cause a problem with a septic tank, but dozens per week probably would. Solution: Use them only when you need them. > BY-THE-WAY: The similar problem of rubbing your nose raw with tissue when you have a cold is an entirely different problem. In that case, the solution isn't crappy tissues with cold cream---the solution is old-fashion men's cotton handkerchiefs, which are much softer and less abrasive. Buy a dozen, change them often, and wash and reuse them. > Click on “Stoney” just below the product title to see my other reviews, or leave a comment to ask questions
