Honest review. I have high ocular pressure. Both my eyes were around 27-29. My glaucoma specialist had prescribed me lumigan. The next time I saw him he told me both my eyes were around 19-20 with Lumigan. He was suppose to refill my prescription but I never received it. I had called them multiple times with no prescription. Luckily during this time my Amazon order came in (MacuGuard). I know it is very irresponsible of me but I decided to take these instead of pushing them to get my Lumigan. 2 months later I went to see my optometrist to check my eye pressure. It is actually the same as when I was taking lumigan. It was around 19-20 in both eyes! I was ecstatic! Now, I would not recommend anyone to go the path I did. But, it just proves that this stuff works! I use to have dry, red eyes as well. I feel that combining Lutein and billberry has also helped improve my eye health because I no longer need to take lubricant for my eyes. MacuGuard seriously worked for me. I hope with an open honest conversation with your Dr and taking MacuGuard, it'll help you as well

Early, but I think it is making a difference (night vision)

This is a great value -- a two-months worth of ingredients you'd hope to have in any supplement that supports eye health. LEF is one of my favorite companies for supplements, tried and true for nearly a decade. I have a number of eye issues ranging from nearsightedness to ocular hypertension (i.e. pre glaucoma). I should note that LEF makes a supplement that is optimized for eye pressure that I've yet to try. I'm on a shoestring budget at this point, and I really like the ingredients in this. Significantly, this supplement includes a significant amount of astaxanthin, which is beneficial to the skin as well. Lutein, zeaxanthin and astaxanthin are three ingredients you'll want to look for in any supplement promoting eye health. I'm less familiar with C3G, the black currant extract, but it is a rich source of flavanoids, which are compounds derived from plants (especially dark berries) that are reputed to have a number of health benefits particularly as relate to micro circulation. Some research suggests that taking specific supplements can help reduce the chance of macular degeneration. Since some family members had lost their vision due to this, it seems a no brainer to me to take one capsule a day in the hopes of reducing the chance of vision loss. I have been taking this hoping it will stop the growth if a cataract in my left eye. I have floaters and am hoping this will help them to disappear. This does make the floaters lighter

Not Too Sure About This

This product has all the ingredients in one gel capsule. It's one of the most complete formulations I've seen, and I've been a regular LIfe Extension product user for ages--so I value their ingredients, quality and products. It's one of the few out there, that includes Saffron, which has proven properties for the eye and vision. However, I have a slight adverse reaction to it, so I will probably not purchase again. It gives me noticeable to modest anxiety, and I feel that my body rhythm is a tad off when I take it. It's hard to explain, but I just don't feel "normal" after taking it. I've read that Saffron should only be taken in small doses, and for short periods of time, as it can be fatal with high dosages, and toxic with long term use (not more than six weeks). I would think that the amount of Saffron in this formulation is low enough to not fall into the dangerous category, but sadly, I will not re-purchase due to the minor side effect(s) I get from it. On paper, though, this formulation looks like a winner. Everyone is different

This is another winning product from LEF! Help your eyes can really use with important ingredients! Taking it every day my glasses stay the same for YEARS, and my eyes seem sharp considering I overuse them for exacting work

Helps heal Macular Degeneration

My husband has been taking this product for Macular Degeneration. He had been getting the injections. He had the wet kind and it was pretty severe. After 3-6 months of taking this supplement, he no longer needs the injections and no longer has macular degeneration. He still goes for tests every other month but has had three excellent test results. It is the Saffron in the product that helps the MD

A Great Supplement For Eye Health

This is a high quality supplement from a high quality company. I've been taking it for a while now. I'm pretty sure they're working, considering I'm almost 50 and I still have a little better than 20/20 vision. I'm obviously not 100% sure about that...I'm just being optimistic! I don't want to think I'm wasting money, you know?
