Good product. My doctor suggested I take Super Ubiquinol CoQ10 for my issue with hot and cold food due to receding gums. I no longer experience bone pain when consuming hot or cold food and drinks. I have ordered Life Extension health products several times and am pleased with the results. Additionally, well done to 'iHerb' and 'DHL'; both companies provide an excellent service, which is often lacking 'Down Under'.

We designed a study with male Wistar rats, aged 22-24 months and induced with type-2 diabetes, to investigate how a combination of three mitochondrial agents—melatonin, nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN), and ubiquinol—could provide protection against myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury, especially in the context of aging and diabetes.

The rats were split into groups receiving different treatments, including some that received the cocktail of supplements just during the reperfusion phase after inducing I/R injury. Over 28 days leading up to the tests, rats received NMN, while melatonin and ubiquinol were administered as the heart was being revived after ischemia.

The results indicated that the combination therapy notably enhanced heart protection and improved mitochondrial function and biogenesis in these aged diabetic rats. While ubiquinol was an important part of this cocktail, it is essential to view its role as one among several synergistic agents. This points to exciting possibilities for improved heart health strategies, particularly for older individuals with diabetes.

Arrhythmia improvement

Constantly buy! It helps fight arrhythmia, and I believe it's the best Q10 I've tried! Last year, I frequently experienced arrhythmia, but after completing a course of coenzyme, I feel great. I no longer experience those heart leaps every month; now it’s only a couple of times a year! Super! I will buy more!

Constantly buy! This Q10 fights arrhythmia better than others I've tried! Over the past year, I frequently experienced arrhythmia, but after completing a course of coenzyme, it's gone! I feel fantastic; previously, I encountered heart leaps every month, but now it’s perhaps only a couple of times a year!

We aimed to understand how ubiquinol, also known as coenzyme Q10 (CoQ-10), can impact those suffering from heart failure (HF). To do this, we conducted a thorough review of existing studies, searching databases like MEDLINE and the Cochrane Library for relevant literature.

Throughout our evaluation, we focused on key outcomes: whether CoQ-10 could reduce HF-related mortality, improve patients' exercise capacity, and affect the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF). Our analysis included findings from 16 different studies that provided intriguing insights.

Notably, we observed that CoQ-10 was effective in reducing HF-related mortality by an impressive 40%. Additionally, patients taking CoQ-10 reported enhanced exercise capacity, which is crucial for improving their quality of life. However, when it came to the left ventricular ejection fraction, the results were less clear; we found no significant difference, though we acknowledge that further research is needed to fully explore its potential effects in this area.

In summary, CoQ-10 shows promise in supporting heart failure patients by reducing mortality and boosting exercise capacity, but its role related to LVEF still warrants additional exploration.

A Superior Ubiquinol Type of Q10! My dad takes this supplement to assist with his cardiovascular disease. He feels a boost in energy and less fatigue when taking it. Most Q10 supplements are an inferior type - ubiquinone - which explains the price difference. Ubiquinol is better absorbed according to clinical research, which is why I chose this product. Iherb offers a competitive price and my dad takes only one softgel per day. They’re fairly big but he doesn’t have trouble swallowing them. He had a mini stroke six months ago and this is one of the products he's been using for recovery, which is going so well he plans to continue with this superior ubiquinol type of Q10 for his well-being. A great supplement from a trusted brand!
