Stinging nettles offer minimal allergy relief
Randomized, double-blind study of freeze-dried Urtica dioica in the treatment of allergic rhinitis.
Most Relevant Research
We explored the impact of freeze-dried Urtica dioica, commonly known as stinging nettles, on allergic rhinitis through a double-blind randomized study with ninety-eight participants.

While Urtica dioica was rated higher than a placebo in overall global assessments, the differences in daily symptoms recorded in diaries were only slight.

This suggests that while stinging nettles may hold some potential for allergy relief, the benefits appear minimal.

Allergy relief
Most Useful Review
First of all, I purchased it to combat my allergies. I began taking it at the peak of my symptoms when pharmacy treatments ceased to work, and on the fourth day, my allergies disappeared. I feel like a normal person again. I bought two jars, which should last the season.

Urtica dioica induces apoptosis in cancer
Urtica dioica dichloromethane extract induce apoptosis from intrinsic pathway on human prostate cancer cells (PC3).
Most Relevant Research
We evaluated how Urtica dioica, commonly known as nettle, affects prostate cancer cells, specifically the PC3 line. Utilizing various assays, we observed that the dichloromethanolic extract significantly inhibited cell growth and induced cell death, specifically through apoptosis.

Our tests showed increased expression of caspase-3 and caspase-9 genes while lowering Bcl-2 levels, indicating a powerful apoptotic response. We also noted that the treatment led to cell cycle arrest at the G2 phase, suggesting Urtica dioica could be a promising candidate for developing new prostate cancer therapies.

My salvation! Since adolescence, I suffered from acne with no relief from diet, creams, or specialists. After watching Dr. Berg, I tried nettle root and within 4 days my skin cleared up! I'm amazed by the results after just 2 capsules daily. Such suffering and such a simple solution I found! Take it; you won't regret it!

Recurring bone pain
Most Useful Review
I suffered from bone pain after eating continuously for over a month while taking one tablet daily. When I stopped, the pain slowly reduced; however, resuming the tablets caused the pain to return almost immediately.
