Mag. Oxide in 240 cap bottle
I ordered one bottle with 240 caps. And the label said 80% Mag. Oxide, 10% Citrate, 10% Malate. Magnesium Oxide has low digestibility. Magnesium Citrate would be the better choice

Read More...The description indicates one dose is four caps, but the bottle I have clearly states 2 capsules should be taken daily and in divided doses (i.e. morning and evening). I purchased these after someone suggested calcium-magnesium supplements often help people who have trouble falling asleep and/or staying asleep. I was dubious about this claim but I don't like taking over-the-counter sleep aids for a few reasons, one of which being the zombie-like grogginess I have when waking up after taking one. For the price I figured some cal-mag supplements were worth a shot and, in short... I was freaking amazed at how well they worked. Almost TOO well, as a matter of fact, until I figured out how to take them. Now, I am not only sleeping longer when taking these, the sleep I'm getting is so much BETTER when taking them. I feel like I'm getting really deep, quality sleep for the first time in a long time. Since I started taking these I can't remember the last time I had trouble staying asleep and it's been several weeks now. I was worried it might be some kind of placebo effect when I first started taking them but I've been using them long enough now I feel confident they really do work helping me sleep. I find taking one cap in the morning and one cap in the evening (somewhere close to bed-time but it's not time-critical), is what works for me. You can use these like a sleeping aid, taking one or two right before going to sleep, but that didn't work out too well for me; I woke up feeling pretty dorked when I dosed them that way. Taking one in the morning one at night has worked well for me. I hesitate to say these supplements have been my miracle cure for really bad early rise insomnia but so far I couldn't be happier

Read More...Have been taking this for a while without problem. However I have been having issues with the recent batches - the capsule breaks and the powder gets everywhere!! I put a week's vitamin supply into a bottle and everything gets a heavy coating of the powder from the broken Cal-Mag caps! Hope this is not an ongoing issue

Read More...VERY disappointed with this product. Bought a bottle where the capsules were cracking open, making a powdery mess in the bottle and all over the capsules. Returned it for a new bottle and discovered the same problem with the new bottle. It's not particularly expensive so I didn't bother returning the bottle and have been using the undamaged caps. NOW's quality control is slipping, quite obviously. I will not buy this product again from this company
