“Softgel” is not soft! Ineffective!

Softgel effective! Had to purchase "softgel" due to a shipping issue with the veg cap that I intended (and tried) to buy. The product itself (in veg cap formulation) is usually very effective. The new "softgel" formula NOT! The gel casing is SO thick that it would not dissolve, would not process in a blender with a very sharp blade and could not easily be punctured or cut with a knife. When I soaked it in a glass of water, it expanded about six times its normal size and did not dissolve. Symptoms worsened! NOTE: Curcumin is already not easily absorbed by the body without taking it properly. The casing on this formula complicates absorption even more! Photo demonstrates what happens when capsule soaks in water after 7 hours. It expands, but does not dissolve. The outer casing is like rubber. This could greatly interfere with absorption

I wish I could say these worked for me.

I have fibromyalgia, and have been having increasing amounts of pain. I was hoping that I could use this to reduce the amount of OTC NSAIDs I was using, but alas this has not worked for me

Works for joint pain

I have discovered that 2 of these curcumin softgels work as well as 2 ibuprofen without tearing up my stomach. When I tried the straight curcumin, I felt like the capsule broke open in my stomach and I was radiating curry. The softgel do not have that effect

Curcumin Softgels is easy on your stomach!

A friend recommended that I try Curcumin after I told her that I was having lots of joint pain and very discouraged with how OTC anti-inflamatories gave me acid indigestion. At her recommendation, I tried Curcumin. I have been pleasantly surprised to find that "one" curcumin capsule works as well as "two" ibuprofen and for about the same length of time - without the acid stomach! Yea

Easy to swallow

I'll stick with this brand because they're easier to swallow than gel caps. Because they take longer to dissolve in your system, they're less likely to upset the stomach

Pain and inflammation relief

Concentrated formula that decreases inflammation. If I do not take it for three days, I'm reaching for prescription medication. Been using turmeric and curcumin for years without difficulty. Recently treated an ulcer and was able to continue using this product after food consumption without problems. Am allergic to Advil so this helps relieve many body aches due to exercise too

these products are not gluten free

I wish my review could be a minus zero. If you have celiac disease BUYER BEWARE!! They say they are gluten free, but all their products are processed in a facility that also processes wheat and gluten products. If you are celiac, these products will destroy your gut. I am furious at the lack of oversight and that many gluten free individuals may be taking these products without knowing any better and getting sick having serious health impact without knowing where it is coming from. NOW PRODUCTS ARE NOT GLUTEN FREE!!

Seems to work as intended

The doctor's still out on these. I got them to replace another product I was using for temporary pain relief. They seem to work some. And they don't upset my stomach. They're much better than taking over the counter pain meds. I live in constant pain. Over the counter medications have way too many side effects. I prefer a natural low impact approach. I take these in conjunction with Bioperine to boost the effects. While you don't get the same effects as many pain relievers, you just notice that constant pain has subsided somewhat. So it makes the real bad days a bit more pleasant. Your mileage may vary as they say
