Lutein shows promise for heart healthLutein exerts its cardioprotective effect against the experimental model of isoprenaline-induced myocardial infarction via MIAT/miR-200a/Nrf2/TXINP pathway.
We examined the potential of lutein to protect against heart damage caused by myocardial infarction, using a model induced by isoprenaline. The study showed that pretreating rats with lutein significantly reduced heart injury markers and improved heart function compared to untreated individuals.
Notably, lutein not only decreased damaged heart cells but also positively influenced several protective pathways at the molecular level. However, while the results are promising, they indicate that further research is necessary to fully understand lutein's role in heart health.

Lutein is excellent! The quality is commendable, and I will repurchase if necessary. It enhances "dark adaptability," filters blue light, and improves "visual adaptability" and "recognition function." It also aids in preventing "macular degeneration," lowers the risk of "cataracts," alleviates "visual fatigue," and protects the "crystals" of the eyes. Furthermore, it aids in preventing the "sequelae of high myopia," reduces the incidence of "glaucoma," improves "brain health and cognitive function," and helps prevent "cardiovascular" and "metabolic diseases."
