In our open observation study involving patients with blunt injuries, we examined the effects of high-dose bromelain on bruising. A total of 59 patients were treated over one to three weeks alongside regular therapies. We evaluated their swelling, tenderness, and pain both at rest and during movement.

Our results showed that bromelain significantly reduced swelling and pain throughout the treatment period, with patients reporting high tolerability and compliance. This suggests that bromelain can be an effective addition in managing bruises and associated symptoms.

Working very well! The outcome was incredibly strong; after washing the wound, it appeared it would take a long time to heal. However, to my surprise, by the evening the wound looked much better, seemed to heal up inside, hurt less the following day, and by the second day there was no bruise. Overall, the wound completely healed in under a week! This wasn’t something I experienced even in childhood. I remembered I was taking various supplements and realised that it was bromelain making the difference! I had read that celebrities take it after surgery for quicker healing without scarring – and indeed, the scar is hardly noticeable!

Bromelain aids in allergy diagnosis

We examined how bromelain, a pineapple extract, helps in identifying allergies to Hymenoptera venom. By analyzing serum from 51 patients, we found that many presented cross-reactive IgE due to a carbohydrate called CCD.

Bromelain played a key role in revealing these cross-reactions, as seen in cases where it significantly reduced reactivity to venom allergens. However, it didn't change the reactivity to specific allergenic peptide epitopes.

Our findings suggest that bromelain could be a valuable tool in better diagnosing and differentiating true allergies from cross-reactive responses.

I have terrible allergies and have dealt with nasal polyps all my life. Having undergone two surgeries and tried various treatments, I was sceptical about this product. However, I decided to give it a go—best decision I ever made! I felt a difference after the first pill. A week later, I could breathe and smell again! It has changed my life. So far, so good. The items arrived on time and in excellent condition. I took one last night in addition to a dose of Quercetin, and one this morning without it. My aim is to alleviate my sinus issues, physical pain, and asthma symptoms. Although it's early days, I already feel improvement—my sinuses are less swollen, I’m breathing more easily, and my body feels relaxed.

We explored a new way to deliver bromelain, a natural enzyme, using nanostructured lipid carriers (Br-NCs).

Our research aimed to improve bromelain's stability and effectiveness in managing rheumatoid arthritis.

The study showed that Br-NCs significantly reduced joint swelling and stiffness in preclinical trials.

These carriers also enhanced bromelain's shelf-life and showed promise as a novel treatment option for arthritis.

This works for arthritis. My mum suffered for 15 years before trying Bromelain caps. After following the correct regimen, her swelling and pain greatly reduced. It takes time and consistency, but we’re seeing improvement.
