These supplements were recommended to me to help with clogged milk ducts. I had been having issues every week and started taking these and haven't had issues since. I had read other places to take three capsules for a couple weeks and then try 2 for a couple weeks and then 1 to help find the right dose. I tried to go down to two and still had issues. I take 3 a day and have been very happy
Read More...I have struggled with persistent clogged milk ducts since my son was born 6 months ago. If you've ever had a clogged or plugged milk duct, you know how uncomfortable, painful, and annoying this is. I researched ways to prevent plugged milk ducts and discovered Lecithin on several breastfeeding sites. Apparently, it helps emulsify or "grease up" the milk so it flows smoothly and doesn't back up in the ducts. In any case, before taking Lecithin, I was getting plugged milk ducts almost every other day. Since I've been taking it (about 2 months now), I have had no plugged milk ducts. This stuff works

Read More...I can't claim that taking the recommended 3 softgels daily (3.6g) was responsible for any measurable memory improvement, weight loss or lower cholesterol but I can say that doing so didn't hurt at all. While the benefits of Lecithin are being debated and research is ongoing, I am happy with NOW's product because it has no 'bad' ingredients such as sugar, corn starch, salt, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, milk, egg, shellfish or preservatives. NOW also states that their product is GMO-free - a good thing. Given the suggested serving size of 3 softgels, the 400 quantity should last for about 4 months if taken as suggested. The gels are easy to swallow and, since this Lecithin is extracted from soybeans, there is no aftertaste and I haven't experienced any digestive trouble. I am unaware of any negatives other than the lack of consensus on Lecithin's actual effectiveness but for a 'food supplement', not a miracle cure, this is a good product
Read More...Excellent value in large size. I take one with every meal (max 3 per day) to melt fat off my body and lower cholesterol. It can also be given to dogs (in granular form) and cats (Egg Yolk Lecithin only) to remove hairballs and fat. Good for the brain, good for the body. Especially good during holidays when you eat too much. Have with your meals

Read More...Good product. I thought I was buying sunflower lecithin instead of soy lecithin because apparently I had been looking @ both and got them mixed up, so do look closely at the label/title before you order if you have a preference for one or the other. Good price for soy lecithin
