Boosts more than just my immunity

I seldom write reviews for products like this, but I have a quick related story to share. I just finished three miserable months of dealing with a major sinus infection and totally blocked Eustachian tubes. I was desperate and tried nearly everything imaginable--antibiotics, steroids, decongestants, antihistamines, and well more than a dozen homeopathic remedies including neti pots, steam inhalers, Alkalol rinses, vitamins, yada yada. Nothing I tried, including this product, could open my clogged tubes. But in the aftermath of a nasty prob that ultimately ended in surgery for me this week, just two products emerged as praiseworthy stars from my long ordeal: a natural nasal spray (Xlear) and this Natrol boost featuring the well respected EpiCor complex. This formula gives me no side effects (important for me since I often have probs with supplements) while it noticeably lifts my energy and spirits. In fact, using this and the Xlear spray, I rarely need Claritin or Allegra for my year-round allergies. Overall, I haven't felt this healthy in a long time, and if the boost prevents illness, even better. I'll continue taking this one daily even in good health. So that's my story. If anything connects, Natrol's immune boost may be worth a try. Just be sure to check the various Amazon pages for this product--the prices can vary widely. ___________________________ UPDATE, SIX MONTHS LATER... I've had to stop daily use of this product. While the health benefits mentioned above continued, I noticed that my skin and hair became increasingly dry as the months passed. To be fair, I've experienced such dryness before with other supplements, so this may be a me-only kind of thing. Once I quit the product (several times for comparison), my system stabilized. I still like the product a lot but will reserve it for short-term use. UPDATE, ONE YEAR LATER... I returned to taking just the main ingredient, Epicor, several months back and no longer have any side effects. (I'm using the Healthy Origins brand of Epicor.) The good news is that I've had a very healthy year with no sinus infections or even serious colds... the first such year in recent memory. Hooray

I am a student and sometimes have to pull all nighters / come into contact with a lot of people, doors, desks, etc. First, let me be clear, I do not take this product every day. I only take this product if I have been around a lot of sick people, have pulled an all nighter, or have the slightest feeling of congestion/sore throat. I make sure to get a good nights sleep when I take this product and usually wake up feeling great, not sick, etc. The trick is to bring in the reinforcements before the bacteria/virus can replicate to huge numbers. Your immune system really brings the fight when you are asleep, which is why I take this product before bed. Happy immune boosting

Really seems to boost the immune system!

Bought this product to boost my husband's immune system after chemo & radiation treatment for cancer. He's been taking the Natrol Immune Boost capsules for two months now and all of his Doctor's have been impressed with how well he's doing, each have said he's ahead of schedule in recovery. I've been so afraid he'd catch one of the illnesses that have been going around - so far, so good...perhaps this stuff really does boost the immune system

I have had Quercetin for many years in the past and it works wonderfully. Natrol is a company I trust and was approved by Consumer Laboratories (no relation to C. Reports). Hence the 5 stars. However, I did not know it also contains a huge amount of vitamin C. I have had an allergy to Vitamin C for almost 30 years thanks to someone on TV saying,"Anyone can take 1000 MG of vitamin C". Not true. Vitamin C in my opinion is over used and this can be dangerous. I did not want my allergy situation to affect this product. Just be aware

This is a must-have for cold and flu season

I always keep a bottle of this handy because I go through periods where I don't get as much sleep as I need. This compromises my immune system leaving me vulnerable to catching colds even though I take vitamin C every day along with other supplements and have a decent diet. All I need to do is take one of these capsules at the first sign of symptoms like sneezing fits and that's it for at least a week or more of not sleeping well. Side note: I used to be able to buy this at one of my local health food stores but they no longer carry it. They instead stock a competitor's Epicor supplement that doesn't work as well for me as this one

These were purchased for their ant-inflammatory and antihistamine properties. The Nettle Quercetin has minimized eczema related itching and also lessened the symptoms associated with food sensitivity reactions
