This is full of vitamin C (90mg, or 100% DV) and is only 15 calories. So this is kind of like healthy, hot Cool Aid.
And I so wanted to like it. But I didn't. It's kind of too sweet, but kind of diet tasting. I think I'm sensitive to the Stevia in it - I have tried all kinds of Stevia things, and they all have that taste that's like sugar, but not quite right.
Also, this seems to be bothering my allergies. I only had a little bit, and I can feel it - time to hunt down the Benadryl! The fine print says that if you're "allergic to plants of the Asteraceae (Compositae) family including ragweed should use this product with caution." Ragweed, huh. Figures. Oh well, at least I'm not a fan of the taste. It would be a bummer if I liked it and couldn't drink it.
So, if you like the taste of elderberries (does anyone else think of Monty Python & The Holy Grail when they say that word?) and you don't have a problem with Stevia, then this is probably fine. It's just not my cup of... well, tea
