A whole lot of fluff, literally and figuratively
This is one of the most overhyped products I've every seen. First off, it comes in a giant box (which Amazon put in an even more giant box, of course). And the manufacturer's box is stuffed with paper. Have you ever seen something like this? It makes me feel a little nauseated just looking at all that wasted material. Ostensibly, the extra packaging is because the bottle is glass, but I've seen other glass bottles that the manufacturer didn't enrobe like the crown jewels. It's just not necessary. They want to make you feel like you are getting something special (which you're not). And all that packaging for just 30 tablets! And the bottle is half empty! If they really want to use all this padding and packaging, the manufacturer shouldn't sell less than 120 pills to a bottle. But then that would be one very, very expensive bottle. This is a ridiculous price for magnesium with a tiny bit of ashwagandha thrown in. I'm not even sure what kind of magnesium I'm getting. Of the 325mg of magnesium, 175mg is listed as "from seawater." So what form is that? Different types of magnesium have different levels of bioavailability, so the consumer needs to know. I have to assume it's magnesium oxide (the cheapest), which doesn't absorb well. Then 150mg is listed as "magnesium bisglycinate chelate buffered from magnesium bisglycinate chelate and magnesium oxide." Not sure why it would need to be buffered, anyway, but then buffering the bisglycinate with bisglycinate? Huh? And there's that magnesium oxide again. And again, there is no specification of HOW MUCH. So I've got to assume that it's MOSTLY "buffered" with magnesium oxide. So you could very well be taking a magnesium supplement with very little bioavailability. There is no third-party tester, so you just don't know. There are so many better products out there, better labeled and with better composition. I can't think of any reason to recommend this product for anyone
