inconsistent product quality

i gave this a solid go, after a year i can say beyond a doubt that this did nothing for my hair or nails long term, simply because the product itself wasn't consistently delivering results. i received a sample with a beauty box, and initially that first bottle seemed really effective. so i went ahead and ordered it through amazon on my S&S. in the year long trial i gave this, i'd say maybe two bottles were actually effective, and you do notice it fairly quickly when it's working. i suspect that it isn't so much that the product itself doesn't work, but that the manufacturing process/storage is bad and leads to inconsistent product value. if the product delivered consistent results, i'd be happy to shell out the high price New Chapter supplements have, but when the price point can't guarantee product efficacy, there's really no reason to shell out premium price for a third rate product. it's back to good old reliable NOW brand for me

Bald spot is growing hair!

After having a small patch of bald hair for 15 years Im finally growing hair back! WOW i didn't think it was possible that I could grow hair from my bald spot but after using this product for 2 months hair is growing! Highly recommend this product for people who want to grow hair back in their bald spot, heck so far its working for me and i didnt have to spend thousands of dollars on hair surgery!!! I also use another product called TIO Nacho ( hair product its green) so maybe combination of the 2 is whats working

I don't know if this product works for hair skin and nails. I had to stop taking it due to diarrhea. Every time I took it I would be "loose" for a whole day. Very disappointing because it was fairly expensive and I've loved New Chapter vitamins in the past

NOT gluten-free!

I'm celiac so I know a thing or two about gluten. If I eat gluten, I get sick. I think this company is making a serious mistake in their understanding of the FDA's requirements for using the "gluten-free" disclaimer. This product contains fermented wheat and they say that the fermentation process get the gluten content within the 20ppm standard the FDA requires. The problem is that the FDA doesn't consider fermentation a process to remove gluten. Otherwise, all beer and all soy sauce could be labeled gluten free! The FDA website says that to call fermented wheat gluten free that you would have to remove the gluten before fermentation to call it gluten free. This manufacturer says they remove the gluten by fermentation. The FDA website says that the food needs to meet "the definition for “gluten-free” in 21 CFR 101.91(a)(3), including that the food had less than 20 ppm gluten, before fermentation or hydrolysis." Note the word "BEFORE" in that statement. Since I can't trust the gluten-free statement on the product, I've not been able to use the product. Since I got the product based on the gluten-free statement, I can't give it a good review

This is a great brand and this product gives results.

Every product I have ever used from this brand has been effective. I bought this product mostly to help my hair, as I have been shedding a lot but also to help keep my skin nourished. I have been taking a capsule a day every day for over a month and I legitimately think my hair is shedding a lot less. I also notice an improvement in my skin with my fine lines improved
