The reason I have stayed with this brand was 1. it was a decent product, and 2. it was made in America. This new bottle is not American made, nor does it actually state ANYWHERE on the bottle where it was originality manufactured. Truly disappointing, and will be returned soon. Perhaps made in America doesn't matter to you, but it should. So should a company not putting the origin of manufacture anywhere on the product

As someone that is older and concerned with loss of muscle mass due to age, I was surprised to see an abstract of a study by the National Institute for Heath that indicated creatine not only helped reduce muscle mass loss, but had cognitive benefits as well for older individuals. This product is now part of my wife's and my daily supplement routine

Creapure is made in Germany. Almost all other creatine products are made in China. Since all Creapure is the same and this was the cheapest Creapure on Amazon it made this an easy choice

When I ordered I mistakenly thought each pill would be 3g (don't ask me how they would fit it in). Each of these pills are 0.75g which means you need seven of them to hit the normal dosage
Read More...In the first image you can see the spikes of the metal pieces on the outside of the scoop , and in the video I used a very weak fridge magnet and still managed to get pieces to stick there. In person it is far more noticeable, I am not that familiar with creatine but I am pretty sure it isn't supposed to be covered in shiny metal pieces. Especially considering this was “Creapure” . The only reason I bought this brand was because my “Muscle Feast” Creapure creatine wasn't available, & I never saw a single shiny piece of metal in that one
Read More...I never thought that in 2022 the first product on Amazon would lie about the amount of product in the package. I've opened the bottle, put 1 scoop on my shaker, the scoop said 3 grams. The nutrition label on the package says “5 grams” AND 100 servings. So I got skeptical about the total amount in the package. And there it was. With the package, measuring tool and everything on top of the scale, it said 427 g. I retried the measurement 3x and the result was consistent. It's very much a shame
Read More...Per gram price, this is not the most cost effective form, even this brand sells powdered form that is cheaper. So keep shopping if that is your goal. That said, I find it more convenient to take in pill form as creatine powder is not water soluble. So rather than mix up a drink, I can more simply include this in my supplement routine with other pills. Make sure you note the dosing. It is 3 pills to get a 3 gram serving, making it effectively 1 gram per pill. This was ok with me as I am taking Creatine primarily for enhanced cognitive function and not for muscle mass. Typical Creatine dosage is 5g per day, but with this pill, I take a lower dosage 2x per day (eg. 2 in the AM, 1 in the PM). Does timing and dosage size matter? maybe not- I couldn't find any studies on it. But spaced dosage and lower dosage seemed more in line for my goals for brain function- admittedly my assumptions may be wrong so do your own homework. Ultimately it was the pill form convenience factor that caused me to order. No complaints there
Read More...I've been taking this for a month now, a little more than the recommended dosage of 3gms. I didn't load it for week like it is also recommended to quickly get the creatine in your muscles. I wasn't in a hurry. As the first month is up I'm seeing a reasonable jump in strength, using heavier weights and able to do more reps. It seems like I can keep doing reps and sets without getting tired as I used to. I'm working out about 5 times a week for about an hour. I've already increased weights and will again in the next week. Size gain is minimal but I expected that. I mainly work biceps, shoulders and chest. I'm also 62 and feeling real good right now. I work out to mainly just to stay in shape, not to bodybuild. I've worked out in the past on and off and believe that this is the best results I've ever had. Well worth the money and it's doing what it's claimed to do

TrueNutrition.com 1 kg (1000 g) Creapure is $65.78 w/promo code 5PERCENTOFF. That includes tax and shipping. Nutricost 500 g Creapure is $41.27 with tax and shipping. That's $16.76 more. The product is good otherwise as it's Creapure, which is produced by only one company in Germany. Thus it is the same product regardless of brand. It comes in a plastic tub with a scoop while TrueNutrition has their Creapure in a resealable bag, which is not as nice (bag seal can break). However that plastic jug is not worth almost $17.
