Oticon Replacements for Minifit Open 8mm Dome (20 Pack) REPLACEMENTS

The domes are great. Now if only I could find my hearing aids.

Before I lost my hearing aids, these domes worked quite well. I even checked the vacuum cleaner bags to no avail. If you have any suggestions tell me, please. Since my hearing is a little weak, please use all caps when responding

Necessary to keep my Oticon hearing aids working their best.

Necessary for keeping my expensive hearing aids working at their best. The HearingDirect.com company shipped them nicely, and provided all the other supplies I needed. Prices were good, too. I ordered through my Amazon Prime membership, and am very pleased with the service. I have reordered this item again

Defective and Unusable

These domes look the part, are packaged correctly, and exactly what is recommended for my hearing aids, but they are much softer and collapse in the ear when inserted. My audiologist compared them to her supply: these are milky-white compared to hers, the openings differ,--and they are indeed much more pliable. I delayed and missed the window for Amazon's refund by one week this defective supply. Future buyers, please beware

Poor material quality

This products was advertised as a replacement for the Oticon MiniFit Open 8mm Dome, however the material is not as good quality and as a result the dome distorts when being placed in the ear, which results in lower hearing acuity. I used one genuine Oticon dome (the last one I had available) in one ear and one of these “replacements“ in the other ear and I could immediately tell the difference in the quality and effectiveness of the fit. I have given this trial a few days but decided that the distorted shape was intolerable. I have subsequently ordered as-advertised genuine Oticon domes and will report on those after they are received

Right product at right price

Sometimes cost is not as important as getting the exact product, not a "look a like". I got the product I wanted at a reasonable price, in a quick response

Thinner plastic than originals from audiologist

These domes fit my hearing aids, and are comfortable in my ear. But they are thinner plastic than ones I originally received from audiologist. Many in pack were mashed in shipping. On the hearing aid, it turns itself wrong side out as I remove device from my ear. So far, flips back readily, but suspect they will not hold up as well
