Read More...Update 3/18: Within a month of use the rubber nub that seals the spout came off completely. Unfortunately that's the weakest link on this otherwise good product. However, without that the entire bottle is unusable as the spout won't seal and the contents spray everywhere. Contacted the manufacturer and haven't received any reply. Changing the star rating to 2, as only one bottle is now usable and I have to be careful watching out for the nub. Much better than I thought. Looks great, works really well. I tried the regular protein shakers with mesh ball, which is noisy. Even if you do tolerate the noise the powder also gets clumped inside that mesh. Tried personal blenders, rechargeable as well as plugged in version. Both are feeble with their motor power, less volume (mostly 20 oz or less) and tend to stop after a minute so that it doesn't burn down the motor. Having had those experiences, I bought this with a lot of skepticism. But the innovative mechanism here definitely surprised me. No clumps, takes less amount of shake as well. Perfectly blended protein shake and a nice size to go with it (bought 32 oz). If you're on the fence, definitely worth a shot
Read More...It's a really cute bottle but there are few fundamental issues. 1. the cap is soft seal, which opens by itself from time to time and leaks after a few use 2. the mesh caves in, which presses any protein powder or anything you add into the bottle down and out. which means you have much less space than having a metal wire ball at the bottom of the bottle in the water than having a big bulky mesh at the top that reduces the amount of water you can put in else after 2 scoops of protein the cap won't close. 2 star because I really like the shape of the bottle. if they improve on it then I'd definitely see this being a better product than regular shaker. Why not put the mesh at the bottom or side of the bottle. why not have the cap as screw on, also protects the sipper from being exposed. because now it's like open to corona virus
Read More...The way the plastic mesh divider is anchored it makes it a breeze to mix protein shakes and such with ice while still keeping the ice cubes from clogging the top. It's also easy to disconnect the mesh and clean. I will never use a stainless steel mixing shake ball again
