This is one BLUE drink!

I bought this after having tried another brand of BCAAs from an amazon lightening deal. I bought this one this time because I live in the desert and the idea of being “hydrating” really appealed to me especially after feeling like the other brand was leaving me dehydrated. Honestly I can't seem to even get that far with this product because of the flavor. Admittedly, I have a blue Powerade addiction which I'm trying to curb with these blue flavored amino powders. This is one is blue. Bright blue. Tastes blue. Like really blue. Maybe too blue... even for me. It's really jazzy and I appreciate the taste but it's a lot of flavor for me to sip on throughout the day. I've tried using less powder (like half a scoop in 40oz of water) and the flavor is still really strong. I'm giving it four stars because I love the idea and I really want to like it but it's potent stuff. Maybe 2 blues back to back was overkill. I'll switch to a lemon-lime BCAA supp for a while and give this one another go and update my review then. I really want to like it

Great for stamina and soreness!

Bought this in the blueberry flavor and ended up really liking it. I decided to write a review after I forgot to make a batch yesterday and HOLY COW I had to modify my workout from muscle tiredness and today I'm very sore. This hasn't happened since I started using the powder, so I'm reordering again for sure! I mix one scoop in a 28 oz bottle with room temp water. I see that it's recommended to drink after working out, but I usually finish it during mine. These shakes along with rolling out before my workout and stretching afterwards has really helped

Totally worth it!…gets me through my workouts

Love this, although a bit sweet so I use a full scoop with 24oz of water (size of my gym water bottle) and refill again when half finished. Beats the heck out of plain water any day. I love this so much that I bought this for a friend. He's hooked. I like that there isn't a bunch of junk in the product and 0 calories. I haven't tried it yet, but I heard if you freeze with water, they made great popsicles! I mix mine with pure creatine...workouts are awesome. My friend said that he drinks this with just a pinch in water during the day and its having him drink more water than ever. My gift for him got him to give up wasteful energy drinks and improved the amount of his water intake

So I've taken this product for a month now, Its my first BCAA powder purchase, I chose brand because I had tried it years ago back in 2016, when my brother had a container, which btw was bigger, not sure why they only have this currant size, they must of downsized. Now what I noticed is its no different than taking a gatorade, but the plus is that it has no sugar, taste great to me, but again I have nothing to compare it to beside the closest thing being gatorade in terms of sports drink effect. When taking it before and during sessions, I get through my 40 minute work-outs, it gives that boost of energy and quenches that thirst. Best part is I don't even measure, I take a small spoon and scoop a liberal amount and put it inside my sport bottle, shake it while it turns blue, and done!. I did one day without this powder and noticed I tend to take breaks longer and or feel slow during my workouts. My workouts consist of light weight training and pull ups, and endurance based cardio with weights, I am definitely sweating all throughout pushing as much as I can. So basically it works for me at least, but how effective it is to you might require a trial run. So try once and see how it turns out, and decide if its worth investing in the long run. For me I will most likely keep my S&S 2-3 months since I only use it as a pinch in my sports bottle, and can make this container last. Taste is good as I like raspberry in any form. Only improvement I'd say is have more flavors and maybe go back to original size

Body immediately felt better

I'm a personal trainer and I encourage most of my clients to take BCAAs, but I've fallen out of practice doing it myself. Well, that really came back to haunt me in the last week or so. I started feeling fatigued, my body hurt all the time, I felt like I was constantly on the brink of injury -- and I stopped being able to work out, because my body stopped recovering from workouts. I would workout on Monday and still be sore by Friday, which is far outside the norm for me (usually I'm only moderately sore by the 2nd day, and that's if I've experienced DOMS. Soreness in general is usually uncommon for me). I could just FEEL that my body was holding onto way too much excess inflammation and swelling, and it was showing up on the scale. My boss, another fitness professional, strongly encouraged my to start using BCAAs again, and recommended Xtend as a brand he new was good. I took a serving yesterday almost as soon as I got the package, and felt immediately better. I took another serving after my workout last night, and my recovery woes are gone. Almost no soreness today, I don't feel fatigued and sluggish, my body is operating great again. I shredded 3 lbs of excess inflammation between yesterday and today according to my scale. Chalk it up to placebo effect if you want, but two servings of Xtend BCAAs and I feel like a competent lifter again after two-three weeks of just feeling generally awful

Great product

I very rarely give product reviews, good or bad, but I need to say this. I'm a 38 year old man and a personal trainer. I workout 5 or 6 days a week 3 of which i mix with 2 a days. That said, Xtend has REALLY increased the productivity of my workouts, particularly in the area of recovery. Leg day and HIIT workouts are particularly exhausting but this BCAA supplement has really pushed me further and produced awesome results. I recommend the Blue Raspberry ice because of it's certification obviously. The flavor is good, however The results are what I'm pushing. 5 star

Ingredients: sucralose (sugar chlorine)

I posted a previous review about the Xtend product and Amazon refused to post it, so this review shall be short and to the point: sucralose is harmful to the body. Do some research on insulin resistance and how the body reacts to sucralose (sugar chlorine). I was looking for a natural BCAA post-workout drink and initially came across the lemon version - natural flavor with stevia. Great! But I didn't want lemon...so I bought these other two. My first clue should have been no ingredients were listed. My second was the super sweet taste (my daughter found it too sweet) and the thrush (aka candida) that errupted. I have since gone back to a brand I tried before (Z e a l Naturals) - also on Amazon. It's your choice what you put in your body... ðŸ¤

Delicious and easy to make!

I have many GI disorders that caused nausea, vomiting, and severe dehydration. My dad, a huge CrossFit buff, told me he purchased his from his CrossFit gym and thought it was be a sort of "supercharged" Gatorade to help replenish essential amino acids and electrolytes while deliver a pack of delicious flavor (Blue Raspberry) and hydration. I went on Amazon and found this 2-pack and decided to give it a shot. Arrived in a couple a days and I just tried it now... it is sweet and delicious. It mixes very well (no floaties or chunks) and is very easy to make. I am drinking my first cup now and am hoping it makes me feel great as well

Best tasting electrolyte drink I've found

I have several electrolyte powders and I have also tried premade in bottles (which is more expensive and takes up a lot of space in my pantry) all of them irritated my stomach because they load it with citrus. They also do not contain the amount of electrolytes and minerals I need. This one does and doesn't irritate my stomach. I bought the blue, has a nice berry flavor. Wish they made a mango peach though. I have issues with low potassium, magnesium and electrolytes due to gastric bypass years ago. In this very hot summer this year and having to do a lot of work outside I was suffering. This product has been a big hel

Effective for DOMS, sweet drink.

I really like this. I drink this while I work out and I believe it really helps with eliminating DOMS. However, if you don't drink this while you work out or 30 min after I don't think it is as effective. I used to drink it 2-3 hours after and never got results. Then my friend told me I needed to drink it with in 30 min, and I do find it is effective. So this flavor, it didn't get the best reviews; however, if you like KoolAid - you'll like it. I'm a adult and I like sweet drinks and I think it tastes great; but, I can definitely see it being very sweet for most adults
