Mogroside V protects against liver injuryMogroside V protects against acetaminophen-induced liver injury by reducing reactive oxygen species and c-jun-N-terminal kinase activation in mice.
We examined how Mogroside V (MV), a natural compound, may protect the liver from damage caused by acetaminophen (APAP). In our study, mice were split into three groups: a control group, an APAP-only group, and an APAP group that also received MV.
Results showed that MV significantly reduced liver injury from APAP by decreasing harmful reactive oxygen species (ROS) and blocking a specific signaling pathway linked to cell death. These findings suggest MV could be a promising treatment to alleviate acetaminophen-induced liver toxicity.

Glutathione is a powerful detoxifier and antioxidant within our body. It binds numerous toxins and free radicals, thereby improving liver function. This is particularly relevant now, as it effectively restores the body after Covid. While glutathione drips are more potent, they aren't cheap. Thus, this option serves as a great alternative, albeit with a slower supportive effect. Additionally, taking NAC (n-acetylcysteine) several times a year is recommended since it contains the amino acid cysteine, a precursor of glutathione. Should my review prove helpful, please like it!
