WORKS!!..But NOT overnight!!

So my problem with my prostate was SOOOOOOO bad that when I went to the toilet I had to stand there for a good 3-4 minutes before I could START a small stream and the flow was still very weak.. then 30 minutes later, I would feel the urge to go again and start the whole 3-4 min WAITING process again..talk about frustrating!!!..Then at night I was getting up to pee 3-4 times a night..So I make an appointment with my urologist and his next appt is 17 days from now..So krap!-- I gotta put up with this problem for another 2 more weeks. So in the meantime I order this TRUE NATURE prostate formula from amazon (seen it in costco too)..It arrives in only 2 days.. I take double the dose it recommends-- because I want to see if it can help me..Well by the 7th day, I START to feel a little better in that the urge to pee is not THAT strong and my pee stream is a little better....Then I REALLY noticed the difference at the 15 day mark. My WAITING time to start a stream is cut down to only a 1-2 minutes at most.. NOT perfect by a long shot, but getting better..My night trips now are 2 times per night... So then I go to my urologist and he is such a great doctor. He believes that you should exhaust every means necessary BEFORE surgery.. I mean VERY few docs are like this.. They want the surgery fast and quick.. He suggests I STAY on a steady diet of THESE pills..He looked at the ingredients and said that DOUBLE the dosage per day WOULD be good for me for first 4 months then scale down to only the one dose per day after the 4 month mark.. Get this- he said that HIGH dosages (600mg per day) of saw palmetto, acts just like the prostate drug finasteride only the saw palmetto is slower and takes LONGER to shrink the prostate than finasteride. He said finasteride acts 40% quicker but comes with nasty side effects that hard to ignore..Including Testicle pain and retro ejaculation and possible increase of prostate cancer down the road.. My doc said Finasteride at 5mg is definately a powerful drug and men should avoid it , if possible..So I am now in the 3rd week of taking this TRUE NATURE product at DOUBLE the dose per day. I feel just a little bit better every4-5 days, and my pee urges are getting less each day as well. Even after 3 weeks of taking I feel 25% better... I will stay on this product at the DOUBLE dose per day for 4 months and report back..One other thing: My urologist said that some people that are taking 600 mg or 1000mg of saw palmetto or more per day may suffer from ED.. So he wrote me a prescription for viagra just in case the DOUBLE dose of this true nature causes ED. On the days I take take TRUE NATURE with Viagra, my pee stream is almost back to normal again.

Surprise! Surprise! This actually works for me.

I write this review more than a year after purchasing this supplement. When I purchased it there was a review saying that a doctor advised the reviewer to take 2 daily for one month and then go to one a day. I tried it and it did nothing for me. I'm talking waking 3 and 4 times a night to urinate. I gave in last year and went to a Urologist and he prescribed Tamsulosin. It worked very well for me but one of the side effects caused loss of libido, no orgasms and little or no semen. So you probably figured I loved taking that LOL. I had to have cataract surgery this month and Tamsulosin effects the eyes so I stopped taking it. A little over a week ago I took this supplement two a day but took it before bed time. Voila, I got up 1x in the night and after sleeping 5 to 6 hours. Now I wouldn't be without this supplement. A piece of advice; if you take a medication or supplement the time of day you take it makes a huge difference. My blood pressure was all screwed up over the the past year or so, when I started taking the medication at night before bed time it regulated my blood pressure perfectly. I hope this review helps someone out there who needs help with prostate problems

Best Prostate problem solver, Ever !!

If any prostrate problems like up several times at night this is the best!! Have used others for 25 years and this solved the problem. Urologist said use standardized palmetto and this has. Get it if any need to go problems!

I have been using this product for many years and I know it works for me. I would buy it at a major discount warehouse. When my supply was running low and this same product and size cost $39, I decided to see if it was available somewhere else. Found it on Amazon for $20! Sweet

expiration date

My husband has taken this supplement for years and seems to be pleased with it. I recently ordered another bottle and the expiration date is a year from now. The almost empty bottle he has now doesn't expire for two more years. I find that confusing and somewhat disappointing. Can you advise

Complete supplement

I like that it has many of the most effective herbs. It seems to be working and though the pills are large, they are not difficult for me to swallow. I wish they had veggie caps

Efecto sobre el PSA

Lo compre para un amigo que tenia valores altos de PSA y el cual yo le habia suministrado de la que compro para mi, al irse a hacerse el control de PSA, este habia bajado 2 unidades y en el tacto prostatico, el doctor le encontro su prostata mas reducida, casi normal. Por eso se lo pedi nuevamente. Yo tengo aÃ±os usandolo y mis valores siempres son normales. Excelente product

Very good

Very good product. It helps. Has zinc so you have to watch that you don't take to much because of that. Low zinc or no zinc would be better
