Quercetin helps alleviate allergy symptoms
Effects of repeated oral intake of a quercetin-containing supplement on allergic reaction: a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind parallel-group study.
We conducted a 4-week study to assess how a quercetin-containing supplement could help relieve allergy symptoms, particularly for those suffering from eye and nose discomfort.
In a randomized, placebo-controlled setup, 66 participants ingested either 200 mg of quercetin or a placebo daily.
We found that those taking quercetin experienced notable improvements in symptoms like eye itching and sneezing, leading to a better overall quality of life. Minor side effects were reported, but they were not significant enough to detract from the benefits observed.

Excellent! It effectively relieves allergies and swelling associated with rhinitis and conjunctivitis, while also reducing inflammation. I find it has a good antihistamine effect without causing drowsiness. I take one capsule after meals, as drinking on an empty stomach worsens my gastritis. A reliable medication.

Amazing! This product has helped with various conditions including eczema and conjunctivitis, significantly alleviating allergic diseases throughout my body. Combining it with zinc, L-glutamine, and glucosamine & chondroitin appears to yield near-perfect results. I feel more liberated from chronic pain!

We conducted an interventional study to assess how vitamin A supplementation affects children's health, focusing on conditions like conjunctivitis. In Northern Ethiopia, nearly 4,800 children were monitored for symptoms and nutritional status before and after vitamin A capsules were distributed.
The results were promising—there was a notable decrease in conjunctivitis cases from 10.2% to just 3%. Additionally, improvements were seen in various other health indicators. However, while the findings are encouraging, they emphasize the need for ongoing education alongside vitamin A distribution.

Vitamin A is essential for our body, particularly for immunity, aiding in the fight against viruses and bacteria. It supports all mucous membranes, including the eyes. As I am currently breastfeeding, I take Vitamin A daily to prevent any deficiency in my child. Consuming it on an empty stomach causes nausea, so I prefer taking it after meals. Although my vision is declining, I believe continued intake will help. Thankfully, I used to suffer from conjunctivitis regularly, but since taking Vitamin A, I have not experienced it; my immunity has significantly improved!

Comparison of Tobramycin-Dexamethasone Combination Eyedrop Versus Artificial Tear Eyedrop for the Management of Presumed Viral Epidemic Conjunctivitis: A Randomized Treatment Trial.
We examined the effectiveness of tobramycin-dexamethasone eye drops versus artificial tears in treating acute viral conjunctivitis. In this randomized study, participants received either treatment following a one-time povidone-iodine application.
While we observed quicker symptom relief with the tobramycin-dexamethasone drops in the initial days, by day 7, recovery was quite similar between both groups. Importantly, there were no significant side effects reported, making both options safe for patients.

I take it for dryness in the eyes and frequent conjunctivitis - it helps! The dose is rather large, so I take one capsule per day with my second meal for about a week, followed by a rest of 2-3 weeks. I once gave it to my 10-year-old daughter when she had cracks in the corners of her mouth, and after just 3 days, everything disappeared. The drug works remarkably well. I haven't observed any irritant effects on my stomach.

This product was effective for my conjunctivitis. Initially, I tried steroid eye drops and ointments from the ophthalmologist for a month with no results. However, after a few drops of this colloidal silver, I experienced rapid healing. There are no side effects, and it’s also useful for disinfecting items like toothbrushes.
