Vitamin D's effect on BCC treatment
A Clinical Trial to Determine the Impact of Tumor Size, Histological Subtype, and Vitamin D Status on the Therapeutic Response of Basal Cell Carcinoma to Photodynamic Therapy.
We conducted a clinical trial to understand how vitamin D might impact skin cancer treatment, specifically targeting basal cell carcinoma (BCC). In our study, 35 patients participated in an innovative approach where they received three sessions of photodynamic therapy (PDT) using a special light, after either taking high-dose vitamin D, a placebo, or having no pretreatment at all.
Using advanced 3D photography, we monitored the tumors throughout the treatment. We found that 70% of tumors cleared after PDT, but those that didn't respond often had aggressive histologic subtypes. Interestingly, the effectiveness of vitamin D seemed to relate to the tumor's depth. Among the tumors analyzed, thinner ones showed a 65% chance of responding to vitamin D, while thicker tumors had a much lower response rate of just 28%.
Overall, we discovered that vitamin D may be a beneficial supplement in enhancing the effects of PDT for suitable BCC lesions. These findings suggest a promising potential role for vitamin D in skin cancer therapy, making it an encouraging avenue for future exploration.

I purchased a large jar at a great price for the family. Vitamin D is vital for muscle tone and boosting immunity; it also supports the thyroid gland, aids in blood clotting, and helps in maintaining nerve sheaths while regulating blood pressure. Great for air travel health protection. When I fly, someone is always sneezing or coughing nearby, and with questionable air quality onboard, it's easy to catch something. The immune boost from these effervescent tablets has made a significant difference for me. I no longer suffer from post-air travel sickness. I use them 2-3 days before travel and 1-2 days after, very pleased!

Airborne works for me. I always have to order it from the US as it's not available in The Netherlands, but when I feel the flu coming on, I start using this product. In most cases (around 90%), the flu does not develop. I love it!

After ordering iron for my mother, who has struggled with anaemia all her life, I noticed noticeable improvements almost immediately. Her muscle cramps disappeared within two days, and she experienced no side effects from this product, which is often an issue with others. I will order more for sure!

Between 2012-2014, I suffered from acute leukaemia. I had consistently low haemoglobin and iron levels. After switching to 21st century iron, I experienced no side effects, and my haemoglobin has been normal ever since. I highly recommend it.
